...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Estar has such a network of friends and her firm beliefs, but.............inside all of that there mst be a very scared mummy, we know something of how that feels. Oh Shabs life is such a bummer at times.

shabbapinkfrog · 27/03/2012 22:51

Oooggs - Happy Birthday to the Oooglets!!BearBear
Shabs- That news must be a bit of a kick in the teeth for poor Estar, They are already on my prayer circle list, but I will add them in to the general prayer list as well now. Might not seem much, but every extra prayer will help a little.
Trips - No, 'fraid not, just an overworked mum thing have aBrew
All back to (relative) normal in the bubby house, boys went on all day school trip to Gressenhall Workhouse in full victorian dress yesterday, spent time in workhouse, schoolroom, kitchens and farm, and had a whale of a time, and seemed to have learned a lot! We have finall agreed to them not going to Holiday Club on the 3 days I am working over the Easter break, but will use our neighbour as a base and be able to go and play with their friends. Not quite the "Home Alone" scenario they actually wanted, but a compromise.

Waves to Rubyrubyruby madly.

Hi Chopstheduck hope the DTs had a good birthday.

Happy birthday little Ooogs. Where have the last 5 years gone? I'm sure I just blinked.

Bubby hope everything okay now.

Shabs hope you get some good news soon re Daniel and Ester.

Well never had to deal with croup before but DT2 taken by paramedic to hospital on Sunday night by what turned out to be croup. Given steroids and now back at school much to his disgust. So frightening when he was going a funny colour and couldn't breathe. Back to himself now but just tired by it all and still coughing a bit at night. Kids eh, just one worry after another.

Trips hope you are enjoying being 60!

Waves hello to everyone and offers chocolate covered nuts around with a nice cup of darjeeling glass of pimms.

Hi all, just settling down for the night. 11.30 and J still messing about! He will be a real pita tomorrow!
Charliemouse - hi to you- hope your DS is feeling a lot better. What is it with these kids and hospitals this week, including yours and mine that is 6 kids who i have heard have been to hospitals as an emergency this week, apart from our two there has been 1 broken elbow, 1 asthma attack, 1 badly sprained ankle, and 1 nasty cut that needed gluing! This sudden good weather has them all out playing with no sense of danger!

Just in from book club at pub, nice night but I so begrudge the cost. I had fish and chips and half a glass of wine as I didnt feel like drinking and my share was £16!! My mum gave me some money for my b/day and its all dwindling on things like this. The other girls are all financially ok, they all eat out often and can afford it...................I cant. When we first started b/club it was held in each others house, now they don`t want to cook its the pub! Am I getting mean in my old age?
Kale Nits everyone xx

Day 22: Things seem to be going more smoothly. Daniel's skin is healed all over his body except for one last tiny bit. On Thursday he had an endoscope through his bowels and one area of inflammation was seen and taken a biopsy of. Although we haven't had the results of that yet, the fact it's only in a small area is a good thing, and we've ruled out perforation, the unusual infection originally thought, and Graft-Versus-Host disease, which is when the new immune system attacks the body it finds itself in and is extremely dangerous. So far, so good.

He hasn't had any more bleeds, which we are only cautiously optimistic about as he went for four days between bleeds before. He is very sleepy and not eating much, but when he is awake is he is much more himself, and is drinking plenty of fluids which is very important at the moment.

He's having quite a few seizures so the neurologists are trying to find a balance there in amongst all the other medication he has to take. So still a long way to go, but much better than last week!
