Our Danny (works in the finance department in our local council) has been told his job is only safe for the next year - beyond that they cant promise anything!! He has been there about 7 years and thought he had a job for life We are living in very worrying times. xxx

Goodmorning Rubester, you are an early bird! I am off on a first aid course in an hours time, sort of want to do it but feeling sick about it as we will be shown how to use a defib. Brings back memories of them trying to save Matthew...........

Back..................really really worth doing, a solid 4 hours of first aid covering pretty much everything. I have faced a few demons this morning and it has made me feel more confident. Now sat on my bed feeling tired, pathetic really, should be at mums but couldn`t face it.

Tom says thank you He is like a 'pig in muck' in his 'gadget heaven!!' He's a good kid - lots of his friends have had very expensive birthday presents....Blackberrys etc etc. He just wanted the ipod shuffle - in his words 'Not the new expensive one Mum, just would love the green ipod shuffle.' Still cost £37 but he is beyond delighted. Thank Gawd he is 'that kind of kid' he gets the fact that we cant afford everything. 14 years old - where the hell did that time go?

Yes I know look at the time! I am going to be in trouble in the morning, was just about to put our supper out tonight when a friend called in, so I asked her to stay and eat. 5 hours and 2 bottles of wine later she went. It was off the cuff and nice.................someone was not pleased :o

OMG never go out the night before Lew is coming and his Mum is working overtime ALL week!!!! Got in about 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have had 3 hours sleep......one of Chellesters friends has twin boys and they were 13 yesterday. Great idea to have a birthday get together.....well it was till my alarm went off this morning!
