Do you mean reimbursment from Yawn? Or Virgin? If you meant Virgin then they would have told them ever so nicely to shove it (in a professional way of course) and to make their staff aware of the terms and conditions next time....

So what’s the ambassador programme ? What even is it doing ?

@Wintersgirl I meant that despite a US colleague rescuing the distressed bots by organising an expensive flight home, the US office would not have done that as an act of generosity. More than likely would have billed the UK office for the cost of shipping a lost UK bot to the UK. I wonder if not long after Yawn and Scotbot discovered they were expected to reimburse the UK office and quietly did so while revisiting just how generous FLP really is. This is the company that makes bots pay for EVERYTHING, I can’t see them letting a bot’s mistake cost them £1000 (and a load of trouble).

@Slw1984it will be pay to join, hassle others to join too, at which point Yawn will give the ambassador a couple of quid, but only when an impossibly ambitious target has been reached. So the hapless ambassador will ruin their friendships and become a social pariah only to find that Yawn won’t given them the time of day let alone the couple of quid she promised.

The only flaw in the plan is that there aren’t enough ambassadors to attract other ambassadors and the people who were potential ambassadors have, this evening, discovered that Yawn has launched … well…nothing different from last week.

I want to miss-quote the Ferraro Roche TV advert now, ‘Ambassador, with this opportunity you’re really spoiling our day’.

What’s the product? Training in the elements of how to start and run a business so you can make a living from that? No, because it’s just a series of “bespoke” nothingness. The only incentives are based on getting people to pay to play.

The only thing that is different is she has decluttered the decluttering topic and that’s nowhere to be seen, a bit like the interest in her scheme.
