Botwatch 90!!!! MLM is dying but we are still watching and sadly there are still many victims. 99.6% of participants in these “legal” schemes lose money but they are STILL being promised the world by MLM. And ‘coaching’ scams are just as bad!

New Fred

welcome one and all to bot watching- where we pint out the lies and manipulation by ‘bots’ - those involved in network marketing, coaching etc etc

there is no magic money tree so don’t be fooled!

Wow, a suggested bot came up in my timeline, she was using 22 prescribed meds and spending £200 a month on prescriptions ( a NHS PPC would have cost her £114.50 per annum) so if it's true I'm sure she would have been made aware of it, so she's either thick or a liar, lets go with both.

Anyhoo she is claiming it's all down to a diet she has devised and can send you a free ebook download to cure you. She mentions the odd supplement in her ramblings but if you dig down she refers to mitochondrial bio-hacking protocol which of course is Zinzino, same as Salon. Clue for first name is nickname for Abigail, so first 2 letters and then add on another bie, second name is the county where Land' End is just remove the W. I'm going to report for health claims this afternoon so there is time for everyone to have a look and report as well should they choose to do so.

ahh not sure how to edit my post I thought I had disguised the Z word, any help pls?

Pretty sure company names are ok here…

They keep the cheque amounts a closely guarded secret these days

Yep they used to publish photos. In glory years, the magazine had pages and pages and pages of them, showing all the amounts. Probably still online somewhere if you look.

Sounds like this year would fill one third of a page .... I doubt the amounts will be shown though.

ilI predict lots of SM posts incoming from top bots, about choosing to step back, work less, be very part time etc.... in case anyone should realise how much the cheques have dropped/disappeared.

Just looking on right move. Lots of house around Ubers place for sale (about 10 of them) all with sea views and all priced closer to 500k.

Ubers holiday home loans have gone up by 70k (she’s probably had to fund the repayments) plus any works. Shes had to take money from her bank account which isn’t looking so healthy and a yoga mat wont bridge the gap. She’s probably in line for some money but I’d expect that house on the market soon as it doesn’t look like she can afford it any more

Agree that God gets mentioned when the bots are hooking in the African downlines

God and comment from Bloodsucker would lean towards ex-BFF looking to Africa. It seems like she is teacher’s pet at the moment.

BTW, anyone else getting advertisements for UW showing as sponsored and endorsed by Mumsnet? I’ve reported it and they’re looking into it but I wondered if any Botwatchers have had the same pop up?

Yes I was getting that rubbish a couple of days ago. Was going to report, but they stopped.

Sad to see Catherine O’Hara has died so am sharing this again in her honour. If the link doesn’t work it was the Allez Vous clip!

Has Nurse changed her Insta name?

I was blocked by her ages ago (despite never commenting on any of her posts) but watch her stories via an anonymous story viewer but it's showing as no stories or posts available.

pontivex · 31/01/2026 19:27

@OhMyGiddyAuntyes she now thinks she’s a home influencer after Mrs Hinch reposted her simpering about a branded home bargains product.
She’s now firstname.home.reset

Thank you, found her.

It seems that as a home influencer you still have to produce a reel of you putting your shopping in the fridge even when you're feeling ill

Havetoagree · 01/02/2026 05:35

Just posting on here to have a rant as I can’t in real life 😂😅. I’ve recently set up my own business, yes, my very own Ltd Company…in a fairly boring but needed field, tech industry. Anyway, been doing lots of networking events around South East where I’m based, and the female only ones do have some ‘proper’ businesses in as me and a friend call them.
but there also seem to be a lot of MLM, tropic, UW people who take over the meetings…on one I was aggressively pitched to join UW, when, I’d explained to her that this would never work due to the nature of my own business…also independent travel agents, are they mlm? I feel there should be a separate networking group for ‘proper’ businesses where they can’t infiltrate. I mean, there’s a difference between an accountancy firm, and being a bloody tropic ambassador…rant over! Thankyou

Havetoagree · 01/02/2026 05:36

And of course I can’t say this in real life as I wouldn’t be ‘supporting women’ but I just know others at the events are also thinking it!

YouOKHun · 01/02/2026 08:20

@Havetoagree I’m afraid it’s why I never go to networking events aimed at women. I haven’t noticed the groups where I live (same area as you) advertising as much but seems to be because the people who ran them aren’t involved in MLM anymore so have no need to recruit. In truth networking events aren’t relevant to what I do for a living but if I see an event pop up on social media I always check the name of the organiser and it’s rare they are not involved in an MLM. The independent travel agents are more than likely part of Inteletravel.

Crikeyalmighty · 01/02/2026 09:02

@Havetoagree I know how you feel - I’ve got a school reunion coming up and the organiser works for Usborne - mind you she’s done it 20 years- just hope at our age ( 60s) she’s not going to try and pitch -

Oh I’m sure she will - what a great opportunity to sell to grandparents!

OP posts:
Havetoagree · 01/02/2026 09:41

@Crikeyalmightythats probably why she organised it, school reunion seems prime territory for pitching. It’s a shame as I actually love Usbourne books (I have 2 primary age kids), but their business model has tainted it for me

Havetoagree · 01/02/2026 09:48

This UW person at a networking event really hacked me off thinking about it. All the other ladies were lovely, and I’m quite proud of my little business and have over 20 years expertise. But she wasn’t interested in that at all, just got talked at for 20 minutes and then she just kept on and on about me signing up, when it should have been clear to her that it’s not the market I’m going for at all (I sell B2B). A waste of a networking event

I agree - in fairness she rarely mentions it and I’ve been to other reunions where it wasn’t mentioned at all - so will see !! Like you I think it’s shame they implicate themselves this way as it’s a good product
