Botwatch 90!!!! MLM is dying but we are still watching and sadly there are still many victims. 99.6% of participants in these “legal” schemes lose money but they are STILL being promised the world by MLM. And ‘coaching’ scams are just as bad!

New Fred

welcome one and all to bot watching- where we pint out the lies and manipulation by ‘bots’ - those involved in network marketing, coaching etc etc

there is no magic money tree so don’t be fooled!

@user1471446301last time I looked (probably summertime) it was under offer which surprised me as I didn’t think they would be able to get rid of it. Perhaps that fell apart. I bet the American owners can’t wait to get shot of it.

Yes, looks like it fell through. The manor running costs, business rates and rental of new offices for the last 19 months wont have been cheap boo hoo :)

Buildings like that need to be occupied, they deteriorate if left empty

Oof that sham awards do last night looks tragic

YouOKHun · 07/12/2025 11:38

Tragic is right @dickiedavisthunderthighs I watched the entrance of the organiser of the sham awards and the cheers that greeted her sounded distinctly lost in the room they were in. It looks like a maximum of fifty people in a room designed to take many more. There must have been people there wondering why they’d spent hundreds of pounds on some would be singer and coach’s ego trip.

I think I counted about 40-50 people on 8 VERY spaced out tables.
I can’t see how that made anything other than a loss

MrsDilligaf · 07/12/2025 12:00

It was woeful. The IG post said there were 80 people there, but that may well have included waiters and the photographer.

I await with baited breath the 2026 award ceremony... (bet there isn't one)

Spongebobette · 07/12/2025 17:55

WHY were there women in skimpy gold outfits on either side of the ‘stage’????

OP posts:
YouOKHun · 07/12/2025 19:42

@Spongebobette and those women in red feathered outfits either side of the door ready for the organiser/coach’s big entrance. Naff and very silly (even if it seemed like a good idea when she was practising her entrance in front of her bedroom mirror). I expect once the guests were on a night bus to the Travelodge in Hendon there were a few regrets about shelling out to attend this event. I wonder if Yawn wishes she could have found the cash to guarantee an award or if even she can see through it? She must have had a look at the event’s SM posts.

Apprentice bot is busy dishing out awards as well - easy money from the gullible and quite lucrative if you don’t go all Poundland Las Vegas like the SoLowAwards bot.

yes, I watched an attendees instagram, 8 tables you are right. The red carpet wasn't much bigger than a bath mat and there was just a bunch of red cloth hanging up behind, hardly the advertised "Arrive in style and make your entrance down the red carpet" The awards were perspex stands with a a5 printed paper slotted in with a small engraved square probably done by timpsons for the same price as a a pet tag.

I do hope these women realise they've been had. It just goes to show how scammy these vanity events are and they are delusional if they think this will increase their turnover and I would be ashamed to declare any award like this in any business capacity,

Ooh I must find this - give me clues . I do love a spectacularly crap vanity event -

pontivex · 08/12/2025 00:24

I dun some diggage.

She was charging £325 minimum for those tickets. There’s a couple other options for £600 and £1200 (you got ‘premium’ seating a goody bag and red carpet photos plus some one to ones with the founder for that extra £300 and what looks like more Insta mentions and an overnight stay for the big ticket).

That room can seat 200 for sit down dinner so when she said tickets were ‘sold out’ what she meant was she needed a cut off point to let the hotel know numbers. Why ‘sell out’ a venue at 25% capacity?

It seems the room is £250 pp for events.

Let’s assume 50 tickets at an average of £350. £17,500 revenue but cost was £12,500. So she has £5000 for the other stuff; the red bathmat, photographers, swimsuit feather girls,
plastic awards, brand and design etc. I’m guessing she made a loss on that one.

Also £350!! For that. I bet there was some regrets! Sad to see a self published child’s book author there with her mum. What a waste of £700

HotAsSatansBalls · 08/12/2025 00:50

Are there any clues as to who is behind the vanity awards?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 08/12/2025 13:26

If you search for the Modern Launch Club you'll find your woman. Seems to be an ex-singer with absolutely zilch business experience who will transform your brand (etcetera etcetera). Obviously one of the two programmes is called Iconic, there's almost certainly an Inner Circle knocking around somewhere, and it's basically same shit, different person.

A good view is on insta which shows it in all it's 'tacky glory'.

First clue, nickname for Victoria ending in i rather than y, second clue 10th letter of the alphabet, third clue what you do when you open a book. Join all these clues together into one word to create this persons insta userid and enjoy her taking you on a trip to the sad self nom evening.

Spongebobette · 08/12/2025 14:43

Omg imagine thinking scantily clad writhing young women is an appropriate look for a women in business event

OP posts:
YouOKHun · 08/12/2025 14:45

The woman’s social media seems to be endless clips of her sipping champagne or eating in what look like expensive places. It is the same old, same old selling of a persons, not skill or knowledge.

What I really don’t understand is why people don’t do any digging and see her persona for what it is. It’s just a series of snatched photo opportunities probably taken at the same occasion to scatter through the next six months on Insta to appeal to people’s aspirations. However, at some audience level (large or small) so many of them do the same along with other tried and tested (and cliche) ways of presenting fictional glamour/success/power, so why can’t they see through it? Or is it a case of emporer’s new clothes where they all understand at some level that they are all bullshitting but no one wants to spoil the delusion. So they cough up £350 and go and play Oscar Winners.

Her appearance “on stage” with the two sparkly costumed women with feather collars (plus others in gold sparkly dresses) put me in mind a cringy French & Saunders style sketch about a failed singer or thesp desperately trying to create the magic of their successful Pontins show back in the day or that episode of Extras featuring Les Dennis where Maggie’s friend is the victim of a pushy stage father. It’s all a bit ridiculous.

I can’t help noticing that the event is confined to Stories and I wonder if photos/clips will ever appear as a permanent record?

I also wonder whether she tried to impose a photo/video ban sold to the attendees as a mark of exclusivity but actually in order to manage footage that gives away the empty room and the sound of their voices echoing around? There isn’t much to see from the few who were there as far as I can see!

Crikeyalmighty · 08/12/2025 15:02

Ah found her- ha ha, is she ex MLM ?

she means her partner has created an agent and put in a few prompts

Did Yawn win a fake award in the end?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 08/12/2025 18:51

Doubt it, I think those went to the poor sods who shelled out £££ for a ticket. It took a LOT of digging, but the 'independent judges' were a total of three arbitrary also-bizznizz-owners.

Does anyone know why DoTerra no longer seems to be a member of the DSA in the UK (and no longer a member in the US)? It’s my impression that the list of members has thinned out quite a bit but DoTerra was listed on the UK site at the beginning of the year I’m sure. They still seem to have a presence in the UK (they still have their warehouse in Manchester and an HQ in Milton Keynes). Perhaps the ongoing scandals have meant they have been chucked out to avoid the negative publicity tainting the other similarly dodgy companies?

No, I don't know, but I found this which I thought was interesting from the Direct Selling News, it only includes those companies that willingly participated. It would seem FL decided not to. I wonder where they would place and what their decline would be year on year which is why they have probably opted out.

I see castle is complaining about being trolled, saying people only punch up not down.

Well I know I haven’t started up lots of companies (which have gone down the pan) or forced my parents to sell their family home , live in a mobile home and emptied their bank accounts, or introduced my minions to one scammer after another as I’m too greedy or lazy to do proper due diligence so am I punching up or down 🤣
