I love stumbling across these threads. I haven't seen one for a long time but I'm kind of surprised that FLP are still going. My Facebook used to be full of it but the people that posted seem to have moved on to book deals on how to make your life super positive and everyone else quietened down. I remember about 8-12 years ago one girl gave up her council house to move into a rented, expensive but fancy house. I hope it worked out for her. Does anyone know?

I almost got pulled in and went to a meeting in MK. There was a hard sell and two ex lawyers that said how well it worked for them that they stopped practicing. Most of the people I know who did it are from Staffordshire but it was everywhere.

Retractable leads aren't recommended for dogs of that size anyway. But why would you want a dog on one in a busy place anyway? Surely a short leash makes more sense and you would want your dog walking next to you, not wandering off wherever it pleases!

@BSintolerant she probably would have been called that as it was a barn type house or certainly had a lot of wood. To be fair it was amazing and the people that called themselves her mentors had done really well from it or had great day jobs to cover it up. I've seen some of their houses for sale and because it's stoke they aren't that expensive but you get a lot of bang for your buck compared to down here.

In the beginning we actually named these people. I doubt if the original threads are still around but would make interesting reading even to see how many people were well known bots at the start, and have since disappeared.
