Following on from the last thread - can anyone explain Yawn’s £200k directors loan please?

Surely she can’t operate with it indefinitely, so what collateral is there for this that allows her to avoid insolvency?

It‘s such bullshit that she’s says she has a 6 figure income when she has that much debt.

Yawn has nothing near a six figure income (unless you also count the pennies).
The fact that she can no longer afford to run the Rangie, or to fix her rotting roof are a clear indication of this.
As for the director's loan, this is money she has taken out of the company untaxed (neither as a dividend or wage). Nothing wrong with that, as long as you put it back in so it can be taxed appropriately. If you don't after a while (aka 'bed and breakfasting'), HMRC can levy tax at a fairly hefty rate on it. Surprised they haven't yet, but the hair on which this particular Damocles' Sword is hanging is getting more stretched and frayed by the day.

I’ve looked at her accounts on Companies House and there is both a debtor and a creditor for c£200k - that’s the bit I don’t get.

Agree her income is only 6 figures if you remove the decimal point!

Something else made me titter the other day when I was out shopping. I spied a Ralph Lauren designer dog bed with “RL” in huge letters emblazoned on its wipe-clean only Black Watch Tartan fabric. India Backe-Hande and her dog Ralph Lauren sprang to mind, along with her son, Harsehole (with all the correct accents in place). I’m tempted to buy it for my little Montmorency! 😆🤣
