@Twentytwentyhindsight what a good idea. It’s the perfect location for a pyramid scheme and no one would need to wear silver foil vests and puffa jackets to keep warm in the tent. You could well be right there. If it was something along those lines Bloodsucker would be fine with it but it would probably be the kiss of death for the rest of them.

I've spent the last 12 hours travelling to a canary island on an orange coloured plane. Fairly easy journey, just a small delay, but nothing horrible.

Now I know that the plane flying the bots to India will be bigger, but it won't be loads bigger. We've hung around for the transfer, because everyone has to go through immigration, then waiting for bags (gonna be carnage with eleventy billion identical yellow cases) So a 12 hour day (no time difference) and we're all a bit knackered.

It's going to be utterly exhausting going to Delhi, I'll be lazing by a pool for a week, but the bots are on parade. They can't even decide "aw fuck it, going to skive off and sunbathe" They have to be seen.

And then, when they get back, they'll have whipped themselves into a frenzy, and will be "presenting the opportunity" to anyone who so much as looks at them.

It's all so very bonkers.

Just asked DS what the luxury coaches were like when visited Mumbai last year, he laughed and said the school bus at home was 5* compared to the “luxury” coaches they travelled on. The aircon didn’t work very well ( they travelled during the Spring so temps were a good 10deg lower, and the coaches had seen better days. Maybe they thought a bunch of posh sixth formers could cope.
He also said that every one in their group had some form of upset stomach, I think DS avoided it because he was taking antibiotics part of the time for an infection in a cut he sustained before he travelled over there.
It is definitely not a destination holiday and being at the end of the runway, probably not a pleasant place to sit around a pool.
Ds really enjoyed the trip but would have liked to see more, they spent a morning in a very high end shopping mall, completely wasted on 17/18yr old boys. They did enjoy the markets close to their hotel where they developed their bartering skills.

To be honest I don’t know why they all bother flying all that way for a couple of days in an hotel conference centre. Far more sensible to take the compensation, add it to the bonus then organise a proper holiday/tour around India for Mr Yawn and herself. But they are so short sighted.

The underbots and future underbots would be more impressed if she was travelling independently rather than a quick cheap jolly curtesy of FL.

Finally, I do hope that they announce the bonuses or that someone records it for posterity. Yawn’s exbff may just be inclined to spill the beans ( hopefully) especially now Yawn has encroached on her neighbourhood.

Lying in plain sight more like Yawn. Correct me if I’m wrong but she has been on or around her target weight for over 12 months now so looks pretty much the same as she did last year.
However, she was very elusive at the Global rally in Bali so maybe didn’t mix with her “colleagues”. I think that she had a very public fall out with her exbff and all the upper level bots had sided with exbff.

She was saved the humiliation of a yoga mat so maybe feels that the dust has settle, or maybe enough of her minions, who have been told her side of the story , have rebooted her fragile ego ( remember she is a classic narc).

Whatever her reasons she very much feels that she is a phoenix from the flames and is begging her followers for her daily dose of admiration. Everyone has forgotten what she used to look like so the verbal affirmation and admiration has stopped, something a narc needs to exist.
Unfortunately, we are not the only ones to follow her daily drivel, the UK cool gang, who quite publicly ignore Yawn, will be quietly planning how best to avoid her throughout the rally.
I want to feel sorry for her, but I just can’t.

Whatever happens Bloodsucker will be fine as she’s made enough money through lucky timing, smiling ruthlessness and diversification outside the UK in the name of Charidy (I’m using my best Smashy & Nicey voice here). I wondered if she is going to sprinkle her fairy dust over India too? I did wonder if her travels last week was part of a fact finding mission rather than a holiday.

Oh she’ll definitely be in the vanguard when they are breaking into new territories. She’s already ‘done’ Africa and is the ideal FL ambassador - smiley and with simple little homilies that she trots out. She’s got the ‘prospecting’ training down pat

I don't know how I got into these threads in the first place but (from the vantage point of having a boringly ordinary job where I just get paid and don't have to do any of this crap), I find all of this fascinating and especially love rally time of year.

Do they have to share rooms at the airport hotel? That will be fun.

I'd honestly pay to not have to go on the trip but I'm glad they all have to.

Sharing a hotel room sounds great. It’s someone on hand to hold your hair out of the way while you vomit and someone to share shifts looking out of the window at the planes with your I-Spy book of aeroplanes in hand and marking them down as spotted when they are landing or taking off. IG International Airport “handles” 2,000 flights a day 24 hours a day with its new additional runway according to one website. Another website says that 75-80 flights depart and arrive every hour at IGI airport, including night flights.

Looking at some of the reviews of the GR hotel, apparently the division between the bathroom and bedroom is sliding glass panels. Fabulous for privacy and dignity if they have to share a room, especially if they get upset stomachs. One review complained that their room had a view of a rubbish dump. It all sounds utterly grim.

@Spongebobette and all of it is persuasive coming from Bloodsucker because she has made money, enough money to protect her from the slow demise of FLP. It’s doubly cruel to be selling people hope right now when times are hard and she knows how bad things are within FLP.

She can edit her story any which way she needs to in order to convince people something similar to her FLP earnings is just over their horizon if they just try a bit harder. I’m sure she tells a good romantic tale of how she turned her life around thanks to FLP, whilst leaving out the timing and the other resources she had in her life which meant she was likely to do well anyway. There’s a special place in hell for her.
