Maternity Pay NHS Band 8a

Hello all
I am bottom of band 8a in NHS. Payroll team cannot provide a forecast until I’ve sent in the paperwork and on the paperwork you have to state how you want mat leave pay paying.

does anybody know the forecasts for both spreading the cost over a year and the amounts paid per policy please? (8wks FP and 18wks HP)?

Has anyone working for the NHS spread their pay out over 12 months please?

I am currently top of the B5 scale £34,581 and have worked for the same trust since 2010, I am due August 2024!

It's not clear from your post if you understand the amount paid will be the same, it's just how you receive it.
