Yawn is increasingly bad tempered and even in the super positive smiley posts I can detect a simmering fury

@Spongebobette I agree. The brittle character keeps seeping through doesn’t it? I think it’s because she’s under enormous pressure in numerous ways; the pressure coming from HQ with a set of objectives from the new country manager which I bet are not realistic or well thought through. There is pressure from people questioning her motives, and pressure from propping up dwindling finances in an “industry” that is shrinking, the pressure of being the main or only breadwinner (I think).

Then there is the pressure of maintaining her weight possibly without the props she had before in front of an audience. This is a permanent headache because she has not been particularly honest and her weight loss and bizniz are so closely correlated that whichever goes wrong first damages the other.

She is under pressure to be permanently positive (the only outlet for how she really feels is to displace her negative feelings by getting angry with dog owners and critics). And to cap it all, her accounts will be published next month, giving her critics an insight into just how “successful” Yawn is in the only terms that really matter … oh and no doubt the troubling matter of a vast director’s loan must loom large. We all know this can only possibly be cleared by selling the thatch with a £30k discount on account of the roof (and who knows what else is wrong with it).

I’d be snappy too.

The old folks village is where her grandfather lives. Very expensive and in a lovely part of Yawnsville. I doubt many will fall for her charms.
Mr Yawn has a sought after trade so probably has lots of opportunities to work as a sub contractor very much under the radar. There is a lot of domestic building going on locally so no shortage of work for him as and when they need to top up the bank account.
He only seems to be around in the evening for the “walks” she needs to go on to stop her falling off the wagon. Same as most people with a full time J.O.B.

Ah yes I wondered if she was selling in the home her grandfather is in. The well appointed old people’s home that not so long ago she photographed to make it look like the whole place was his! The assumption that the elderly are gullible is incorrect as I’m sure she will find out. She might be confronted by an elderly doctor who knows a lot more about “gut health” than Dr Yawn, BSc Huns, University of the Electric Interweb. I can’t think of anyone I know who who is north of 75 who would take her seriously.

I think Mr Y’s trade is quite high end and he’s obviously skilled (from memory of something I saw a long time ago about him). I think you are right @Angrymum22 he can pick up some well paid work here and there that can shore up Yawn’s ailing scam. I don’t see how else they can keep things afloat even at the level they’re at without some kind of extra work from him or bank of mum and dad.

I mean, he's got DIY skills but if he was a proper tradesman he would be more concerned about the bigger picture (rotten roof, damp ingress, not taking out period features etc) rather than the "rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic" jobs that clearly come from Yawn's demands

As someone who spends a lot of time in old buildings, there are plenty of tradesmen who (whatever their skill in modern buildings) know nothing about caring for historic buildings, and plenty who couldn't care less about period features! Proper conservation specialists trades people are worth their weight in gold (and charge accordingly!)

So you can pay for tictoc followers and tictoc followers can get paid to follow. You can get paid for product placement and you can ask for donations ( a polite way of saying that you can beg).
To buy 10000 followers it cost £200-300 and you only start to get paid once you have 10k. It becomes murkier how much you earn per 10k followers and whether the cost to buy them is a rolling monthly payment.
Now I understand why MLM bots continue to post inane drivel on the platforms. But are they able to make any money. once you balance the cost of maintaining followers and the returns you receive.
It seems that you have to have over a million followers to make enough money. And your content needs to be interesting and engaging
Expect more rants and showing off from Yawn as she struggles to maintain her followers. Curiosity is sustaining her at the moment but she is going to have to ramp it up in order to earn the megabucks.
She needs to do some viral dance videos or do the makeup thing. Maybe a bit of karaoke. Her stories are becoming a little tedious and repetitive.

The problem for Yawn is that however hard she tries, she still doesn't qualify for things like the EMR...and that must grate.

If, after 14 years in MLM, you haven't made it to the top then you aren't going to - she must be exhausted with keeping on top of "business", social media etc etc. An actual real life job would be less stressful, but I doubt she will ever give up the "dream".

I guess she's working on becoming an influencer, except she can't influence her way out of a paperbag.
