There was only ever one Dim Bot yet so many of them are seemingly competing for her title. Could Specsaver edge into first place past Nurse, Castle and Two Jags to take the lead and be crowned Even Dimmer Bot? It’s a big field of contenders. Bringing up the rear is Weird Willy who is showcasing his unwise credit card spend, in the hope of becoming the new Dim but Kind Man Bot. Not forgetting those runners who have fallen in recent furlongs - Wig has been banned from Facebook and has had to withdraw from the race and take her cartoon filtered pics with her.

You can only enter this race to the bottom if you took part in the qualifier which requires an IQ roughly the same as an Aloe Vera plant.

Yawn loves the idea of bare floorboards. Fact is, in old cottages, the floor boards are misaligned, there are odd pieces here and there to fit in. They won’t match and will have HUGE gaps in between.

@SoosanCarter exactly. I wonder if she’s actually looked under the carpets yet? I live in a 16th century house which is probably held together by the carpets. Old boards in my house are usually warped, full of gaps and with loads of old nails everywhere and bits of old plywood over the gaps. All this “character” has to be covered with thick underlay and carpet or the furniture falls over. I pity Mr Yawn having to try and polish up that kind of thing until it looks like Yawn’s vision of Amtico Wood Effect flooring.

@Norma27 I got quite excited about the photos lying behind the warning and what they might contain! Specsaver should really have cottoned on by now. Yawn would have deleted the comment, blocked the poster, private messages the poster with some passive aggressive (or plain aggressive) comment and done a Live about jealous trolls, all in the time it’s taken Specsaver to work out where the space bar is on her keyboard.

What ‘different’ benefits though??
