I drove past The Thatch the other day ....I can confirm that that roof is looking well and truly fucked.

My understanding of a thatch is that they are very expensive to have redone and you have to book in a thatcher well in advance as there aren't that many around any more, plus of course it's weather restricted.

Let's hope Yawn has it booked in for some time soon.

Spongebobette · 26/07/2023 08:57

I think Mr Yawn is probably watching YouTube videos on DIY thatch replacement 🤣

In a cost of living crisis, Castle living her best life, at the expense of her parents and poor sods paying £39 a month, does not sit well with me.

She could not come of SM as that is her only validation, she appears to have little to no friends, and SM is the way that she feeds her narsissitic traits.

YouOKHun · 26/07/2023 09:59

@NormalForNuneaton I know a couple of people who have had to have thatch replaced. The most recent (last summer replacement) had a reed roof which lasted for about 35 years but cost them £50k total price to replace. The buildings insurance is super high and they have to have yearly maintenance and some sort of fire retardant spray which is around £2k. I can’t see Yawn being able to cover those kind of costs.

SnoogyWoo · 26/07/2023 10:13

I think Yawn is just hoping for better times again and a big chairman’s bonus cheque. To get out of a £200k directors loan, sort a rancid thatch, maintain an old white rangey and live her best life is just about an impossible feat for her I would say. When she did get her bigger cheque she should of put it into income generating assets and not the vanity projects she did put it into, but as FL is all based on vanity then what else was she going to do.
FL is just not going to help her recover financially anymore, she would need a very highly paid corporate job or to start a new legitimate business and spend years building it. They have really dug themselves into a large hole.
I suppose it couldn’t have happened to nicer people though with all the people they have fleeced with a pipe dream.

BSintolerant · 26/07/2023 12:35

Yawn must be running out of road. I can’t help but wonder whether she, like Castle, had access to money to buy her way into Forever.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 26/07/2023 13:07

Didn't Yawn once casually mention that her parents owned some woods, and isn't that where they dumped their never used caravan?

PieonaBarm · 26/07/2023 13:09

If she has to sell the Thatch she'll disguise it as downsizing as the kids are older now. She'll then have to reduce it cos it needs a new thatch and buy somewhere big enough to hold all that crap she has on the walls!!

Sugarplum48 · 26/07/2023 13:56

Quite apt seeing Mr yawn with a dog training lead around his neck... suppose its one way to keep him place long enough to take all those cringe worthy pictures she makes him take..

TribeD · 26/07/2023 15:57

FLP have sent Yawn a box of chocs.

They know full well that all the bots go into absolute raptures about these "gifts". They have two purposes only:

  1. A tax write off
  2. A hook to keep bots in love with the company.

Virgin Vie used to do the same - a card and a gift on your birthday, it's a head office bot's job; go down a spreadsheet and send a generic gift.

TribeD · 26/07/2023 16:20

FLP are reporting a profit of just £396k for 2022.

They turned over £19 million, with a gross profit of £14million, and then spanked £13.5 million on distribution and admin.

They state they are pushing recruitment (new bots buying stock) and that no dividends were paid. The report is not a good reflection on the company.

And

3 - provide an opportunity gif the bot to post endlessly to their downline about what a generous company they are ‘partnered with’

hmm I would have thought it much more preferable to get paid holiday, sick pay and professional development (not the amateurish stuff they do, which consists of bots telling nee bots their life story and sharing wizard wheezes to attract more minion)

a box of chocolates now and then is cheap cheap cheap for Forever Living when the likes of Yawn give their time for free at all the events

yawn is raving about chocolates .

do you know what is more thoughtful than buying chocolates - well it’s your employer putting money into a pension so you have money in retirement.

What will yawn do without a pension, will she even get a state pension as she’s a boss babe ?

Wintersgirl · 26/07/2023 21:12

They won't get the asking price for the house if the Thatch needs replacing, an old house that needs a new Thatch it will put buyers right off, unless they give Yawn a stupid offer...

It ain't looking good, is it. How long before they exit the UK?

I wonder how many wannabeebots check this out before signing up.

Spongebobette · 27/07/2023 00:48

Well the beloved (????) President (of FL) is visiting the UK on 7 Aug and has some exciting news - you are invited to go along (IF you are 4CC active in July)

the country manager is trying hard to whip up excitement about this.

Do they have to pay to go along?
4cc is a very low bar .. just shows how much things have shrunk.
Attendance levels will be quite telling.

TribeD · 27/07/2023 07:57

1CC is £272 retail (according to Yawn's recent Post which I screenshotted) so in order to attend to hear this exciting news you've got to sell £1088 of aloe stuff.

Whereas, if my CEO has something exciting or important to share, then everyone gets invited, and, (and this is the key part) I am paid to attend

Spongebobette · 27/07/2023 08:01

When you say ‘sell’ you mean ‘buy’ don’t you?

lots of brainwashed bots will place orders to meet the 4CC requirement for July as he is encouraging them to do

OP posts:
Spongebobette · 27/07/2023 08:26

Hmm Yawn’s 18 year old victim, sorry I mean son’s gf, hasn’t posted anything about her ‘business’ since May

She might have actually got a J O B in childcare but isn’t posting about that, she’s gone quiet. She won’t be able to afford to stay ‘active’

am surprised Yawn didn’t try putting sales through her to give her a boost and get her a promotion. Presumably she’s realised that the girl’s network of local 18 year olds wasn’t going to be a lucrative market or a source of more recruits and decided to stop bothering with her

I hope the poor girl didn’t piss off too many of her friends in the process

OP posts:
YouOKHun · 27/07/2023 08:49

Here is FLP’s instruction about how to achieve 4CC.

  1. Buy lots of product
  2. Recruit anyone you can
  3. Tell anyone you recruit to buy lots of product.
MLM Bot Watch 77: MLMs are scams, you will lose money and paying £97 for an ‘official’ certificate won’t change that
Spongebobette · 27/07/2023 08:59

Just following the first instruction would be expensive - I remember years ago Uber’s ‘black bin bag’ idea where you go round your house and put all the products that can be replaced by a FL one into a bin bag

then you are a ‘product of the product’

i think most people would baulk at that idea now as it’s so wasteful

OP posts:
Spongebobette · 27/07/2023 09:01

And number 3? Why would people do repeat orders after the first time when they buy from you out of sympathy/ support

the products are expensive and not that great

Castle: "I live 80% vegan" 🙄
While this statement actually makes no bloody sense at all, what is she actually trying to say? That 20% of her diet is composed of meat or dairy products?
That is a huge amount, and more than most people who wouldn't dream of qualifying themselves as any amount of vegan.
She truly is ridiculous.
