Oh dear. Well that may well be the end of Forever Living. I wonder if it will generate any class action law suits. Also if I was an FL bot I’d be straight down to the GP to get my bowel investigated.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer classified aloe vera whole leaf extract as Class 2B. That means it is a possible cancer-causing substance (carcinogenic) for humans.

This is absolutley huge, I wonder if anyone may look to post the link on any of the top bots pages for reference?!

If I were a top FL bot filming my child gulping down Aloe goodness every day, I would be stopping that pronto!

Have read the study/paper and it not only discusses the increased risk of bowel cancer it also cites increase occurrence of skin cancer in lab studies.
I have a latex allergy so have to avoid a lot of plants that produce latex, aloe being one them.
FL will come back with reassuring posts that their aloe is different/all natural/organic or whatever. The study suggests that unprocessed aloe is the problem. I’m not sure what FL do with their gloop. I’m waiting to see how they will handle it.
From what I’ve read the WHO put aloe “in the list” pre Covid. Maybe it hasn’t been picked up until now. FL show really have been putting warnings on their products.

This is massive - It could bring FL down completely.

I think the carcinogenic AV is the Non-decolorized Whole Leaf Extract. I have seen FL claim they extract only the inner pulp but the whole leaf extract turns up in many AV products and I wonder if all their products avoid this. They are not a trustworthy company after all. Even if their products swerve this it’s not good PR for them. I wonder how widely this information is being shared with the bots … I hope it is!

I didn’t d a little digging into FL AV and they treat the gloop to stabilise it. They don’t really make it clear. Either way if it is decolourised it will have been through multiple processes to remove the colour and other toxins. Sort of undermines the whole pure unadulterated vision they like to promote. The gloop is probably heavily processed resulting in gloop that is little more than jelly-like water.
I think posting the link to the study on as many sm accounts as possible will hopefully make a few customers ask questions.
I wonder if someone showed the study to Castle. There is no link between AV and her sisters cancer but to a medical layman like Castle she may have started to have doubts with FL gloop. Maybe she questioned head office and it lead to her rapid fall from grace.

I can’t believe Yawn and her “crew” are walking 26miles in bloody trainers. And white ones at that. It is currently raining hard in their location. The hair is going to take a hammering and wet feet will be a real problem.

I completely agree @Angrymum22, it's a huge distance and they don't seem to have spare clothes / socks etcetc, just their drinks in their bags and sodding aloe. Yawn had an 8 hr drive yesterday and probably something similar tomorrow too. We all knew they'd be ridiculously underprepared but the reality is quite scary
