Then the lady in question (made $12k mostly from downtime sales in one month, never since), despite being told more than 99% fail at network marketing, still thought she "could do better if she worked harder". At that point I turned to DP and said "sunk cost fallacy".

The next words out of the presenters mouth were exactly that.

It's so predictable.

The sad thing is that she qualified for the Cadillac, took out the 4 year lease (north of $600/month) in her name and of course only gets a cheque for $500 when she qualifies in any given month. She's already failed 8 months of I think about 12. Meaning she has paid $500+ across the 4 months she did qualify, and around $5k in the 8 months she didn't qualify,

"Would you ever have picked a Cadillac as your car?"
"No."

Beggars belief.

Wonder if he coaches him in how to maximise his DPD deliveries? Castles husband is a hanger on with no discernible employable skills. Unless you need doorstaff. As he's massive and I imagine would be quite handy at putting drunks on their arse.

I reckon he was the kind of cop that rocked up and his mere physical presence sorted it out - and every Police Force needs a few of them and from experience you breath a sigh of relief when they turn up to certain jobs. Bet his files were rubbish though 😂. He should have stayed in GMP.

@NyanBinaryJohn I will watch that Netflix later. There was a woman who appeared on the anti MLM “scene” a fairly short time ago who was in the UK and had recently emerged from the horrors of May Kay. She was quite a rare thing as Mary Kay has never really managed to infiltrate the UK. She had also suffered at the hands of Scentsy.

She was clearly no fool and she did a very honest YouTube walking the viewer around her stacks and stacks of inventory, explaining how she felt obliged to keep trying and how they would change the products so stock became obsolete within moments of the “distributors” getting hold of stock (and many of the other tricks used by MLMs). She may be one of us here! It was pretty shocking how much money was tied up. Here’s the film she did

Ok, possible scenario for Yawn. She wasn’t an exponent of the Covid vaccine and Indonesia is pretty tight still with entry requirements re Covid. It is possible she arrived without vaccination, which is ok unless you show signs of Covid. Then you have to go into quarantine for five days at your own expense in a nice villa (£200+ per night).
Her post from what appeared to be a hotel room may have been in Bali but she would miss the whole event and incur 2k of costs as well.
She didn’t look very well when she posted the story and her eyes looked very puffy as of from crying.
I definitely have far too much time in my hands, however in my defence I had to do all this research when DS went to India in Feb so that he was aware of what may happen going through immigration. India are still checking peoples temp as are Indonesia.

She did a live from her office at home yesterday so who knows?

@Angrymum22 you are thinking laterally! I can’t remember Yawn’s particular stance on vaccination but I wouldn’t put it past Yawn and a few other bots to neglect the boring small print. I see the rigid stance on Covid vaccination for entry to Bali has stepped up recently:

“As of February 2023, the Indonesian government requires that all foreign travellers entering Indonesia must have received a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before arrival. This requirement applies to all travellers aged 18 and over, regardless of their nationality”.

Your theory would fit with the stressed, puffy eyed Yawn in a hotel room who then fails to appear at the conference. However, it wouldn’t account for the lack of showing off leading up to Bali. The plot thickens!

@Tupperwarelid I see who you mean and it does look like them. There is another couple on the screen at number 9 in the rankings, I’ve tried to find photos of them on social media to see whether they are lookalikes for Yawn and Mr Yawn but can’t verify.

I don’t know the answer and I am not sure I want the thorny question answered by a man who has gone from FLP to Gaslighter coach, via a peculiar relationship and Modere, to arrive at his ultimate destination, a bedsit in some hinterland where he continues to tell the rest of us that there is something wrong with our self esteem and to look over our shoulder because there is a NARCISSIST right behind us. I am not sure I want his help even if he is offering his “Narcissism Separation Coaching” at an exclusive knockdown price!

It must be a nightmare being a legitimate business coach right now and having to distance yourself from the hijacking of the term ‘coach’ thanks in great part to MLM.
