@Wintersgirl yes just saw that. I wonder where she was when she posted looking like she was knackered and in some hotel somewhere. Now the question is WHY didn’t she go to Bali?!

@Wintersgirl do you think she was feeling hurt and rejected? this would of been the first year she would not have had bff to hang around with so maybe she did'nt see the point in putting herself through being humiliated and alone.
Also the glaringly obvious fact that she probably could'nt afford to go somewhere as far flung as bali. Its just laughable that she hyped it up so much then failed to so spectaculary deliver

I don't think it's Yawn as she looked too smiley and relaxed, and also Yawn doesn't mix in those high circles of FL

@Sugarplum48 If she qualified, which I believe she did, the trip would have been paid for (for her +1).
If she hasn't gone, it's most likely that she chose to take the $2,000 'opt out allowance', which would fit with the timing of her stopping mentioning Bali on her SM.
Why she did this, we can only speculate but gravel and thatching don't come free, so every little helps when money's tight.

Someone's just asked her on one of her 'new product' posts whether she's 'having an amazing time' ... no response yet!

She could well be but who knows? It must be mentally exhusting having to put on a front all the time

@Twentytwentyhindsight do you know whether everything is paid for if you qualify? Or do you have to pay for your own meals, drinks etc? If only the flight and hotel is paid for it could still work out quite expensive for Bots with sinking incomes.

Travel, accommodation and food are paid for, as is an 'activity' (depending on qualification level). There is (used to be?) a certain amount of daily 'spend', again depending on what level they qualified at.
As a teetotaller, the only extraneous expenses for Yawn might have been Mr Y's drinks.

@Howsimplywonderful Definitely. If I had been in Yawn's shoes, (or those of any other bot there), I'd have opted out of that shit show.
Two days travel either side of 3 jet lagged days in a middling hotel with enforced 'training' every day surrounded by other bots desperately trying to convince themselves that this is 'living your best life' in the middle of the 'off' season holds no appeal whatsoever, especially if you can opt for 2 thousand dollars for staying in the comfort of your own home.
The irony is that if Yawn has indeed made that eminently sensible choice, she has backed herself into a corner where she can't admit it.

They are all being quiet aren't they. And who is even there? Uber isn't, Welsh bot isn't by the looks of it, and unsure about yawn!

Either way yawns awol on SM is beyond odd. This is the woman that gives us the daily clothes show, the hairs, make ups, food intakes. What's happening with her???

The whole situation is very strange. Some of them have only posted once or not at all since they arrived. Reps from other countries are posting prolifically. I wonder if there’s some kind of pact or something to not post much. It’s so unlike them all.

It sounds like the UK results must be dire this year if no one is posting much - it feels like they just want Bali over and done with and that nobody asks about the cheques this year

Castles exBFF posted a video of a group of bots dancing. Room looked otherwise pretty empty and there were some very false grins showing I thought...

The weather looks terrible, the kids won’t even get into the pools. I was talking to a friend who flew back from Australia and had to stop nearby and the weather was horrendous.

Now Castle has got her husband a coach as right now everything is changing 😀😀😀

I expect that in their 'down time' between brainwashing training sessions, they're hanging around the lobby waiting for a break in the clouds to drag the Family outside for their 'this is paradise!' shots before the next downpour.

I saw some pictures of last night’s dinner and the first photo is of someone with their head in their hands (or possibly half asleep) which just about defines the whole thing. Other shots were of random people sitting at tables, quite a few glued to their phones. It didn’t look like people were having a whale of a time.

April is the very beginning of the tourist season in Bali and the weather is often wet and clammy and very hit and miss I understand. It can be lovely but obviously they just didn’t want the sun enough and haven’t manifested the right weather. They do look shattered@NormalForNuneaton and I would be too. Imagine sitting in a conference room all day while jet lagged and then spending your “free time” lurking under shelter waiting for a bit of decent sun whilst contemplating the return journey still jet lagged from the outward journey and still grappling with the 7 hour time difference! Half of them have probably got the trots too.

Also, while a lot of it is paid for I am sure being trapped in a hotel means that it’s still very easy to spend a lot of money. I went to Bali (over 20 years ago) and my vague memory is that it was reasonable generally but once inside a big hotel complex it was the other end of the scale (might be different now). Travelling anywhere is expensive aside from hotel and flight costs - does FLP cover airport parking, kennelling the dogs, insurance, all the new outfits, vaccinations, petrol to the airport, the mini bar etc etc - it’s not a “free” trip, it’s torture with an invoice.

I can almost feel their disappointment and despondency from here.
