One of the ones there ( unusual first name) popped up on a local Facebook page earlier in response to someone who was asking if anyone knew of any jobs going in the health sector, trying to recruit them. Also seen them pop up on a post about stalls at a fayre.

I did wonder at the time if she was a Yawn recruit but I think it's the girlfriend's friend

I've said it before but if I was that girls' mum I'd be fucking livid!

I know she's a young adult but the fact that a grown adult woman was taking advantage of her in that way would make my blood boil. At 18 years old you wouldn't want to risk pissing off your boyfriend's mum by saying "No" especially when it's probably being presented to you as a win win opportunity.

That is utterly tragic, yawn recruiting young and impressionable women.
Reminded me of the last footage of Hitler in Berlin, patting the 15 year old soldiers on the head as they were all that was left before the war ended!

I’ve got a daughter a few years older than the gf and I’d be very pissed off if her boyfriend’s mother tried to monetise my daughter and her son’s relationship. It’s all very well being adult in the official sense (and so able to sign on the dotted line) but getting involved in this kind of thing, possibly getting into debt and very possibly damaging social connections could cause real problems. It’s hard enough being a young adult and trying to work it all out without having this shite added to the mix.

@NormalForNuneaton cross post! I said pissed off but actually your “fucking livid” is much more appropriate to describe how I’d feel too. I never interfere in my adult children’s relationships but I’d have to make an exception in this case.

Absolutely. I met my MIL at 22. I was terrified and I would have been desperate to impress.

Yawn is a formidable character ( much more so than my mil, as it turns out) and probably quite intimidating to a young adult. 😡

Also yawn has put some effort/expense in to arrange that little event for people who usually have the least disposable income. Not the brightest business decision ever!

Anyone else curious as to what’s really behind Yawn’s posts reflecting on her early days with Forever Living? Is she looking for hunspiration to turn her failing so-called business around and get back to the glory days? Does she wish she could turn back the clocks and save a bit of money? Or has she come across boxes of papers and photos amidst a decluttering session which has come about because she knows that she might have to sell the mouldy thatch to pay off her director’s loan?

And know we know why Yawn gave up alcohol. She has had admitted to liver problems last year. She has to be applauded for turning her health problems around but liver issues at her age points to a serious alcohol habit. Although her weight may well have contributed or been the cause. I suspect this is the actual reason for her adherence to diet and lifestyle changes. Fatty liver disease only has one outcome if you don’t make changes.
I do wish she was more transparent though because she could reach out to others who are suffering and inspire changes in them, rather than claiming that the old gloop is the magic cure. Hopefully she doesn’t resort to making sure claims.

YAWN is full of shut. She's been full of it for over thr 20 odd years I've had the displeasure knowing her. In all those years she's been nothing but a ego filled narcissistic bully. I pity her husband, her kidd her parents and that's WHY she has never ever has friends and why she's clung to her miserable weak husband

How did Yawn end up with fatty liver disease? Surely that’s impossible? For the last ten years she’s been blathering about the benefits of drinking aloe vera juice every day and how amazing it is for her health. Anyone would think she’s been lying about the benefits of aloe juice just to part fools with their money. 😉

My BIL got diagnosed with fatty liver last year, he doesn't even drink, it's purely down to his bad diet, so if Yawn's diet wasn't great and she was drinking a fair bit then I'm not surprised she's been scared shirtless to lose the flab and get fit. It just shows that Aloe gloop isn't the cure all it's made out to be though!
