Hi all, going back to the Intellizoom issues - I've been experimenting recently and have discovered that if I only click through from the emails, the surveys work fine. If I try to access them via the dashboard, this is where the issue arises with the survey being either expired or screening me out.

Hopefully this will help some of the rest of you that are having the same problem.

I was having to abandon Intellizoom studies after starting them because of prototypes (most figma) failing to load and then I suddenly started getting "You do not have permission to enter this study" messages. Switching from Firefox to Chrome seems to have solved both problems.

Having moaned about the recent lack of opportunity, I have suddenly hit a productive period. I did a one-to-one interview lasting about 50 minutes for $150, easily my most lucrative Intellizoom task.

Cravingsweets · 21/07/2023 13:23

Ooh, I've never seen an Intellizoom study like that. Instill only get the $8 surveys and $5 card sorts. I find it very inconsistent and see no rhyme or reason to the screening process, and I've noticed some othe surveys now ask when you last completed a survey. I only use it as pocket money though so I'm happy with jumping on a few a week.

JanetheObscure · 21/07/2023 13:29

I was convinced the $150 interview was some bizarre glitch, but no! Real luck - I just happened to see the invitation email immediately and (most unusually) met the criteria.

ruralwanderer · 21/07/2023 14:17

That's awesome, well done @JanetheObscure Grin

Thanks - so did I 👍

sorrynotathome · 22/07/2023 09:05

Thanks @ruralwanderer ! I’ve had one stuck one my dashboard that’s been closed for weeks. I haven’t done any in July so I’ll take a look at my email settings.

Does it say when your dashboard stats were last updated? I do a different project with them and there is a lag in the stats but it says in small print “last updated ….” Usually it’s about a 4 hour lag.

I’ve been paid by Neevo but only for tasks I actually completed.

SomersetDreams · 29/07/2023 12:54

I got paid for a prnounciation task I definitey didnt do...Ill donate it to charity :)

ruralwanderer · 30/07/2023 07:46

In my experience, Neevo are terrible payers who avoid paying for work that has been done. If you've been paid in error, congratulations! Keep it and keep shtum Wink

Are people still getting survey's from Prolific? This is my first month in over two years that I've not had a single survey 🤔

sorrynotathome · 30/07/2023 11:41

@AnotherOne4 I’m getting a fair few at the moment, whereas Intellizoom has gone to zero. From reading comments on here they all seem to come & go in waves.

justalittlebitextra · 30/07/2023 12:28

@AnotherOne4 I am but I had a dry patch of over 3 months when I moved until I realised for some reason Prolific don't like my new ISP so I only get surveys now when I tether to my phone on 4G.

What is really stupid about it is they do come through ok if I'm doing a set of daily surveys I've already qualified for - so they clearly don't have that much of an issue with it.

PurpleFrog · 30/07/2023 12:31

@AnotherOne4 I have had a good month on Prolific after a couple of quieter months. I have, though, had more studies which I have been unable to start once I accept. Some seem to have limits as to how many people can run on the server at any one time, so you just have to keep retrying, if you have the time.

I am getting fed up with Intellizoom. I have answered the same screening questions multiple times over the past few days and been screened out every time. I am still being screened out of about 80% I try.

Cravingsweets · 31/07/2023 09:54

I've been getting a steady trickle with prolific, but they're all relatively small payers. I just did one a moment ago for 30p.
Purplefrog I'm also getting fed up with Intellizoom and their screening questions. I'm screened out of far more than I actually get. A while ago one of the screening questions was something about a favourite superhero. I had it multiple times and always tried a different option, but was always screened out. The process just seems bizarre. I prefer prolific because at least if they're on my page, I'm already screened in for them.

justalittlebitextra · 31/07/2023 10:09

I'm getting completely fed up with PureProfile now - they never had the most surveys, but the majority of the time if you didn't qualify for one you'd get 5p and it was a steady £10 a month for me.

They've clearly signed up with cint now and I'm getting a load more surveys but can spend 20 mins and not qualify for a single one and they don't seem to do the 5p on those ones either.

Branded surveys is a pile of rubbish now as well - I barely qualify for anything on there either.

My only steady earners now are Prolific and Lifepoints are ok as well. YLive are good and well paying (but not as godo as Prolific) when they do have a survey, but I probablonly get 1 or 2 a week.

justalittlebitextra · 31/07/2023 10:11

Oh - and the text answer screening questions - I know they are there to try and root out the bots, but by god 50 words on why I take surveys, or my favourite restaurant and why is getting old now.

PurpleFrog · 31/07/2023 10:52

@Cravingsweets I have just started another Intellizoom survey with exactly the same screening questions as I did yesterday… and the day before. It was 2 minutes after the email arrived, and guess what, I don’t qualify… again!

On the other hand I have done a number of high paying Prolific surveys in the past few weeks - £9 and a few at £15. I have found their screening process isn’t always foolproof, as I had a high paying one the other day, which didn’t tell me until I started it that it was for ages 65-90 only.

rhij86 · 31/07/2023 20:42

Hi all,

I'm back after a long hiatus, been 'chipping away' at potato constantly but if I can find something quick and easy to top that up I'm all ears... things are dire here as they are for many I think.

Hope you're all ok! Good to see a few familiar names still knocking around.

CornishPasty101 · 31/07/2023 21:10

Random question about PayPal. I got some money from neevo this month (from work I think I did over a year ago…) but anyway they pay in USD and I’ve never had a problem before with PayPal just sending it to my U.K. bank account once it has converted it into GBP. But today it won’t do it, saying I don’t have any GBP and I need to go into the website to look at conversion options. Any ideas?! It’s only about £3 but I can’t work out why I can’t do it!
