the pandemic the likes of FL benefitted from job instability and exploiting the WFH angle, but (generally speaking) a lot of people were more financially optimistic at that point, but now I think many people will be much more risk averse, will have less disposable cash for purchasing/joining schemes and those already trapped will have less money to keep on purchasing. They will have more problems recruiting others too.
If it’s now the choice between electricity and a few bottles of Aloe or a choice between electricity/a tank of petrol or speculating on the vague chance of a ‘six figure income’ sometime in the future - I can’t see people going for that in the way they did before life got so expensive.
I feel this present economic crisis is much more damaging for MLMs like FLP and they will look back on their sad tent party as the beginning of a much sharper decline.
