Pure Planet to Shell Energy, have you had a bill yet?

I've been asked to increase my dd slightly. Not a scary amount. I kept it going.

I can't make sense of the bill though as it says it's for 1 month but it isn't it's 3.

Has anyone had the DD not appear on the new Shell bill? Even though they were paying them to Pure Planet? 4 months worth of payments aren't showing and it's gone from saying we were £70 in credit to now saying we're almost £500 in debt 😳

Usage hasn't changed compared to previous months. They've also asked us to up our bill to £150 a month for both when we were paying £60 for both with Pure Planet. We're literally weeks away from having a baby so I don't need the stress of trying to find extra money we haven't budgeted for. We expected an increase but not one of almost £100! And then having to find money to pay the debt off on top of that 🙈

I kept my DD going but neither Pure Planet nor Shell took it in January. Shell did email to suggest a one off payment but I ignored that Blush so I am now owing about £200 and I have a thumbs up symbol and the words "your account's in good shape". I guess it is compared to some of the figures others are posting.

We kept it going and made a payment to Shell in Jan yet none of the previous payments from Oct-Jan are showing. Just a bit worrying really as I'd like to know where our money has gone if it isn't to either company.

Contact them, you have the proof the money left your account so I'm sure it can be sorted. Not what you need right now though.

We've been paying Shell by DD (named Shell Energy on our bank statement). They've sent a letter saying we owe them money and will cut us off if we don't pay within five days. DH phoned, they're saying our payments have gone to our old supplier (who we were transferred from) but will check their end, but the chap has come across this before. DH had covid at time, so didn't think to take his name, but he's assured us we won't be cut off

Hello again everyone. My bill date should have been 3rd March and it still isn't showing in the bill section, is anyone else having the same issue? Not impressed with Shell so far!

i have just come across this after doing a google search - we never received a final bill from pure planet. Carried on paying direct debit as instructed - those payments have not been recognised on our new shell account and without a final bill from pure planet, she’ll aren’t interested!!! Did anyone else get a final bill from pure planet? If so what date?

Did you get this sorted? I have had exactly the same thing and they are not being helpful - I have the direct debit proof but not a final bill from pure planet!

I contacted Shell Energy to check the “previous balance” on my first statement from them as it didn’t appear to take account of all the DD payments I’d had go out after my last Pure Planet statement. In the end I concluded everything was in order, but found the way the account information was presented by Shell Energy rather unhelpful!!
