As we're a few days into October thought I'd set up a new thread ( but couldn't think of a creative title!)

Hope everyone had a good September and hopefully lots of earning to be had this month. Welcome to any newcomers.. I've (hopefully) copied the usual links over from the last thread but if you have any questions ask away, there's usually someone who can help Smile

Only 4 items on appen but they were all about the £70 mark so no complaints this time

TheLolaMontez · 08/10/2021 09:22

Been accepted onto rev, think I applied around 3 months ago. So need to get looking at that. Also got Am'r - nothing too exciting, probably my favourite is a terrible chicken garden ornament 🤣

lilmishap · 08/10/2021 09:47

I ha a birthday recently and my new age means I tick a different box in surveys. I've just been declined on all 17 surveys in my onepoll after being asked my age.
So that felt good.

8dpwoah · 08/10/2021 10:35

Oh Rev took ages for me but you can get going fairly quickly. I messed up one of my probation files (it was a dictation and I don't read the guidelines, whoops) so my metrics went right down and I haven't been arsed to sit and wait for the right sort of files to bring it back up, partly as I've been busy with other things. I will do though, I didn't hate it and I think it will be worth having as another string to look at. It's better than battling through trying to get competent at anything on UHRS anyway 😂

Buster27 · 08/10/2021 10:52

@0htooooodles at least we're probably not missing out on any work.. can't remember the last time I actually got any on At*, just various tests!

You now need the mobile app to login to Clickworker. So that's the end of me and clickworker.

MegaGengar · 08/10/2021 12:50

Randomly I had an email this morning from Freeshare, which I had completely forgotten I even set up! I topped up with £1 in Jan 2020 and got a free Greggs share worth about £20, which is now worth £31.22 and I just got paid a 15p dividend :)

If anyone hasn't registered and would like a code let me know, if you register then both you and I get a free share

Potterurotter · 08/10/2021 12:51

Hi all hope it’s ok to join in, have been lurking. @TheLolaMontez I joined Rev and I’m trying to get my accuracy metrics up as on 3.5 at the moment. I’ve got to get it up to 4.5 on the next four projects I feel they do set the bar super high but hopefully can get there not pinning all my hopes on it tho!

lilmishap · 08/10/2021 13:25

BeMyEye users when it talks about the "Shelf scanner" for taking pics with is that your normal phone camera or is there something I need to download?

Februarycat · 08/10/2021 16:27

I can still login via the website, just been on it today, I don't use the mobile app
ZetaPuppis · 08/10/2021 18:32

Is anyone still doing potato? Just wondering how it is currently.

tiddlysquat · 08/10/2021 20:16

I'd forgotten that I qualified for Rev: I'm very demotivated at the moment . Need a B* type easy project

AnotherOne4 · 08/10/2021 20:21

Oh wow, I just an email saying I got S*C** Grin

CocoPrivileges · 08/10/2021 20:27

@AnotherOne4 woo hoo! Same here! Anyone else?

curdsandwhey · 08/10/2021 20:31

@lilmishap The shelf scanner thing is within the app itself so you don't need to download anything extra. I think there's a training thing about it somewhere. But honestly, in my opinion I wouldn't even bother. I did a "Perfect Shelf" job for the first time last week and it was an absolute nightmare, very stressful and took ages. I already thought it might be rejected, which it was, but they sent me such a long list of things to redo, I just quit. Maybe it's just me, but I can't see how it's even possible to get the whole thing accepted. They are so strict. I don't think BeMyEye is for me. I felt exhausted afterwards, and I saw the same job appear and reappear several days in a row throughout the week, so I know I'm not the only person who tried and failed.

Well done Smile My email said I've just got to wait for it to launch. (Really hope this is a decent project)

DedalusBloom · 08/10/2021 20:41

I've done really well on UserTesting. They don't accept everyone and you can't reapply after the initial test. But once on board if you can find compatible tests you're looking at $10/$30/$60 per test. I've been clearing $300+ a month with them. (£220ish)

curdsandwhey · 08/10/2021 20:48

Your earnings on Usertesting will completely depend on your demographic. I don't make anywhere near £100, let alone £220. It depends on your age, job and various other things about your status.

FreoFeoh · 08/10/2021 21:06

Excellent re S*C** I've received the email too (which was a surprise tbh), fingers crossed it's a good project, not done much the couple of months other than match betting & prolific

curdsandwhey · 08/10/2021 21:08

But I also did my first Roamler job today and even that, while technically easier, left me feeling like a bit of an idiot. I mean I did it, but I must've been in the shop for about fifteen minutes taking photos of stuff on the shelf, noting down some reference numbers. I felt like all the shop staff must be looking at me, wondering what I was up to. Then I walked out without buying anything. The whole thing felt so awkward, maybe mystery shopping isn't for me.

MrsWombat · 09/10/2021 08:55

@ZetaPuppis

Not as good as the glory days but very reasonable. Lots of work in peak times and a few surges too.
TheHumanFund · 09/10/2021 12:24

My Am** wasn't too bad. I got a nice blind for my kitchen, some fairly expensive mens trousers, moisturiser, a poster and a couple of cheap items of clothing. One was a wowcher so I wasn't sure whether to skip or not but it was only cheap so not the end of the world if it gets rejected.

lilmishap · 09/10/2021 12:44

@ZetaPuppis I've been in the Pots headspace the last fortnight (I made a killing when footie was on at the end of last month) and I've managed £40 a day but I hop on before 530am for a couple hours (there's usually 1000s in queue) and then do 30 mins here and there throughout the day (when numbers are between 50-200 usually) I do another hour-ish when I'm watching telly before bed.
The content is there but not at the most convenient times....The footie did make a huge difference.

Redcrayons · 09/10/2021 12:46

@curdsandwhey I tend to stick to the big supermarkets where they don’t really notice you. I always felt obliged to buy something if it was a small shop which defeats the object.

Although I don’t do them that often anymore, the fees are ridiculous for the amount of photos they want.

curdsandwhey · 09/10/2021 13:15

Totally agree. It's just that there's so many people out there claiming they make £150 a month on Roamler or BeMyEye and I just can't see how it's possible.
