So my daughter is 16 and staying in full time education I have notified TC and CB , I checked my tax credits online account today and it says no payments due ? Is anyone else in the same boat or know anything about this .

Well mine obviously isn't going to be done by the 7th

As I said earlier, if I don’t do the HMRC reporting on time at work we can get fined £1000 - id like to know who I send my £1000 fine to for not doing this on time?
They also charge interest if we pay late…

Mine updated early hours of this morning.
My 18 year old has come off, and my 16 year old is back on for ongoing eduction.

It's gone down over half the amount I usually get, fuck. Doesn't leave us desolate, but wasn't prepared that huge of a drop, especially since I get disabled element for my 16 year old.

Mines been updated now. Losing £150 a week due to ds3 going to university. We got the disability element for him.

Not sure how me and two dds will manage at all now. Very worried.

Mines back but minus my daughters who I informed back in July would be staying in education. Always a right fanny about isn't it

Mine was updated too this morning. Won’t be getting anything for my 19 year old as she’s doing an apprenticeship. The drop in amount is shocking. I was lucky to get an extra year tax credits and child benefit for dd1 as she was doing a non advanced qualification.

But she will have wages from the apprentice ( some are pretty well paid ), so can contribute an amount equivalent to the drop surely?

We will be okay without it but from now she will be able to pay for her own clothes, going out, presents etc. I would rather she save her money for her future.

Please if you claim rent, ask as my child worked the summer and I was made to pay back £75 a week of rent payments, as any job is classed as a working adult for benefits

Bollindger Can I ask what age your daughter is? I thought under 18s were still classed as dependents so any money they earn didn't affect the parents benefits?

My DD was 18 in her 1st year of collage. It was her first job, and she was in full time collage. I tried to fight it, but was told it was the way it was.
