Newbies welcome. We're all here for the same thing, get together and earn some extra cash. Aim for £10/day but every little (or lots) is good.

@MrsWombat, no worries. I'll let you know if I hear anything or if they're recruiting. You could have a look on the projects board and see if you can message the TTL and explain that you might have accidentally declined the project. Possibly worth a try.

Just done my A**r purchases. 6 items only bought three, 1 dress from china, smart charger and a kids book. I really hope i get my reimbursement for Decem. I was not keen on doing this purchase until i see my invoice but not al ot to buy this time. Fingers crossed i get my reimbursement

Mine is showing 0 but support are on it now so I'm not too concerned. I'm a bit pissed off about this month's products because they were utter crap. Although a bit hilarious. Grin I got a hair topper, a saucy novel, some weird herbal weight loss patches, a sweatshirt that is way too large and a cushion. Lol. So I'll be all skinny and disappearing inside my oversized shirt, but at least I can read filth and I'll have hair with oomph. I'm returning the cushion. Grin

I just woke up to an email saying I've been paid in payoneer. Had a random 50$ in there and no idea what for. I'm wondering if it's from my rejected reimbursements last month but I've not had any messages.

You would think appen would have to pay us the 2 piece rate for last month at least! It's not our fault they put it down incorrectly

I doubt they will but as a gesture of goodwill they really ought to seeing as it was in black and white on their site! Bit like supermarkets having to charge the ticket price on the shelf, even if it's wrong or an out of date ticket.

There are also two different versions of the Am guidance linked from the project homepage, which are both different to the guidance linked to in the most recent email. How hard can it be to replace the outdated ones?

I wonder if they have a complaints procedure? The rep in the chat is always going "remember that this is a JOB so read the instructions" etc, but if it's a job then they should be behaving in a professional manner and not constantly change goalposts (and not pay people by the sounds of it).

I agree. I was really pleased when I thought they had increased it to paying an hour's time as I think from start to finish, each product takes me longer than half an hour. Oh well.

I got an extra this morning too. I wondered if it was the customs charge I had to pay as I note this month there is an instruction to combine all docs into one for a purchase so maybe they missed them in December's batch.

I don't think. I am going to do the Pol*ck transcript job as pay isn't great and think it will take ages.

I’m new to U-test and wondered if you could help.

I was about to claim a test slot for the voice assistant project, but all the non-native slots have gone. My husband and children have Scottish accents & there are still lots of Scottish slots available. Even though I personally am not Scottish... could I still claim a slot and use their utterances?

When you all refer to sending a 'ticket' on Ap... does this mean sending an email via the project page? Or is there a dedicated reporting system I've missed?

@WizardOfAus, I don't know what to do in that situation. It's difficult as you're the one claiming the test slot not you're husband. You could maybe claim a different slot and then add your husband and children to the survey response form. At least then that would give you access to the chat forum for that project and then you could ask a TTL in there for their advice and they will point you in the right direction. Might be worth a try.
