Welcome to the Feb thread.

Newbies welcome. We're all here for the same thing, get together and earn some extra cash. Aim for £10/day but every little (or lots) is good.
@YonderTweek look at Lionbridge they had a couple of things up a couple of weeks ago. If you have a decent microphone TeemAI have a recording project going.

Hope everyone else is ticking along too.

My last thing from my Feb Am arrived today. Still waiting on a Jan purchase but fairly sure it's never arriving.

I've got far too much going on at the moment and feel like I'm constantly playing catch up. Hoping schools going back helps.
What microphone do you have if you don't mind me asking? Mine isn't good enough.

Thanks

@MarigoldMoonStone I also had the Harry Potter one - what a nightmare. I worked my way through a few P tasks very painstakingly and seemed to do quite well in terms of accuracy and then got an email saying I'd been removed due to quality issues Blush felt a bit gutted at first then almost relieved as I found it very hard work for the money!

namechanger247334 · 20/02/2021 00:41

@riverskater found it

namechanger247334 · 20/02/2021 00:42

So how do I make money haha?

seizethecuttlefish · 20/02/2021 08:14

@CocoPrivileges I know what you mean. I'm waiting to be removed but getting as much as I can before that happens. With the exchange rate it's not great but I was hoping it might be longer term and provide consistent money.

@AVL I have a jabra one but that's mainly because it was a work one. I know the Logitech ones aren't bad but I don't think it's worth getting a new mic for it. I've don't loads of these and it's the only time anyone has asked for a jack rather than USB. Newer laptops are phasing out the jack point so seemed a weird request.

In other news, my last thing from Feb Am arrived. Omg I'm in love. Most comfy trousers ever. Not that I would pay that much for them but they are my new favourite thing!

@YonderTweek I had a free share from Freetrade that was worth about £6, which I think is about average. I can share my link if you're interested.

The one I got from Trading212 was with £65 so hit the jackpot there - I'm not sure if they're accepting new members though at the moment, they temporarily suspended the refer a friend promotion after the GameStop business.

PandemicPalava · 20/02/2021 09:26

I'm not having much luck! The Nn Link doesn't work from the email sent and the P*k link says 404.

Thanks. I have tried a Plantronics set which are my husbands from work and they aren't good enough, even though reviews on the internet say they have an excellent microphone. So I think I will have to leave it. My other headset mic is USB so can't use that.

MoreMoneyPlease · 20/02/2021 14:08

@AVL I've had problems with this job too, have spent ages trying to get my recordings good enough. Even if I actually do the job now, it wouldn't really be worth it because of the amount of time I've already spent!

On the other hand, Nvo are doing the phone calls again so hopefully will do those next week.

Winterjoy · 20/02/2021 20:28

So who's been on Neevo today? Just sat down to do some work following the email this morning saying there are OH SO MANY jobs, and everything's gone already Shock

@MoreMoneyPlease how do you know what tasks Neevo have coming up?

MoreMoneyPlease · 20/02/2021 20:57

@Winterjoy I had an email from them. I’ve done the calls a few times now, they’re really good.

fandangofandango · 20/02/2021 21:14

@MoreMoneyPlease Is the pay good for that one? Everytime I went on the jobs don't seem well paid at all so I stopped looking a while ago!

MoreMoneyPlease · 21/02/2021 07:46

@fandangofandango The calls are much better paid than the other tasks, definitely worth doing. I can't remember if you have to get an email to be able to do them?

fandangofandango · 21/02/2021 08:32

@MoreMoneyPlease thanks! I'll have to check ...

Catatemyhomework · 21/02/2021 10:09

@MoreMoneyPlease, I've had that neevo email too about the calls. I have emailed her though as it does state that they want different voices and I told her that I'd done it just before Christmas if that was the same project. Obviously I'd love to do it again though as it's over 200 dollars. I'll wait and see what she says.

mummyof4kids · 21/02/2021 17:39

Hope someone can help. On clickworker it's asking me for a tax number in order to withdraw, does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks x

ruralwanderer · 21/02/2021 18:21

It's your national insurance number 👍

mummyof4kids · 21/02/2021 22:04

@ruralwanderer

It's your national insurance number 👍
Thank you! That makes sense! x
mummyof4kids · 22/02/2021 08:02

@ruralwanderer it didn't work

Paddingtonthebear · 22/02/2021 08:14

I haven't withdrawn yet but I read that its your tax code that goes in there

Tinging · 22/02/2021 12:00

@mummyof4kids they just need the code for American tax payers. I looked up how long the US code is and just put 12345... however long it is. It was accepted and I’ve never had a problem being paid.

AnotherOne4 · 22/02/2021 12:06

Tinging & mummyof4kids - I'm pretty sure I never entered a tax code or NI either, and I had my first payment last week with no probs Grin

Heyha · 22/02/2021 12:33

Had an invite to March Am* today on Ap, email says please disregard if you've done it before. So they really are having a clearout on that one.

I'm in two minds. I've had such a poor experience of Ap so far I'm not sure I want to put my own money into it (I can live with being unpaid for a five minute Facebook survey tbh as annoying as it is). But you guys speak positively of Am* so maybe I will give it a whirl. Can you do a month then if you hate it bin it off?

AnotherOne4 · 22/02/2021 14:24

Anyone using Qmee? Think I might give this one a go......

Sallycinnamum · 22/02/2021 15:18

My regular N**e contract has finally finished after 13 months.

As I said up thread I'm going to miss the extra cash but I'm so utterly bored of having to do an hour each day after a long day in my regular work I'm relieved its come to an end.

Might give myself a breather for a couple of months and see what else is out there.
