Any advice on the A**r project....do they reimburse ok or have there been issues?
I'll be reluctant to take part if theyres issues

I've just qualified for my first Appen project! It's a pet one I've signed, I go to my list and it's in projects I've qualified for but still says qualify on the right (nothing happens if I click this). I can't see where to start it? Or do I just wait now? Thanks!

I really need to get myself in gear for earning some money.
It’s hard when the kids are at home. As well as home schooling, there seems to be so much more housework to do. The kitchen always looks a mess.
I’m aiming to do 3 hrs today of work today. Most of that is unpaid tasks to get requalified back onto one of the platforms after my absence.

Placemarking. I've been doing n**e for two months now of appen and loving it. I am still waiting for them to pay though- it was approved ages ago. How regular are they with payment?

Also doing potato and very slow but hoping to speed up.

I also really like qmee- I've made about £10 a week on that at the moment.

@Miarara, there are some other companies that employ for search engine evaluators and they don’t want you working for both of them to avoid conflict of interest so that question is to ensure you’re not doing something similar with a competitor

I've done two rounds with no issues. I think most people get reimbursed ok, but some have problems. Judging by the project chat the project manager is on it though, and most people do eventually get reimbursed even if it takes a while. (I am a newbie though so not been around that long!)

@Osquito re the use of keyboard. How much can you earn an hour using this method?
Im very slow but using a mouse. Do you use left hand keyboard and right hand mouse....I find mouse is helpful to scroll up and down if things arent in full view or need ot check the guidelines

what's people's experience with Way with words?
Is it reasonable to do it 1 evening a week?
(and then more when I'm on MAT leave)

I'm full time employed, but also self employed with some coaching which I can't do at the moment - presuming this would be where I pay tax on self employed stuff?

Nevermind it says 'work this!' now! Yay

Ive done some of the camera ones but the M**o one has been a no goer as i get an error message each time saying the frame per second camera speed js wrong, even though it is set to what they ask for. Lots if people having the same issue

I couldnt do the pet one as my cat adopted the zen position everytime I whipped me camera out!

We have 4 cats... hope at least one of them will engage 😂

Oh.. it says outdoors only is being accepted now my cats are indoor cats. Surely it would be better to ask this before qualifying someone? I won't be able to do any of it!

The camera ones have been a real dud for me apart from Maon who paid out quickly. The rest have been in verification for flipping months. I think they're waiting for me to forget about them! The voice ones are great and I'm on day 2 of Ts and enjoying that

@pronxcessxo as far as I'm aware cloudworkers is basically being a text version of a Babe Station girl answering the phones, I've seen reviews saying the pay is alright though if it's something you're good at, I'm awful at dirty talk so not for me haha, you talk through fake accounts and just fill in wherever there's a gap so someone thinks they're talking to one person online but actually it's a bunch of different people replying so some people find it very fake and feel like they're scamming people for the company.

So fed up with Ap nearly 9 nine hours rejected on one daily project, 21 rejected for another 20 hr a week project, not paid at all for another which has guidelines that change every day and are not reflected on the main page. Given up waiting for some video project to be auto generated on my invoice. Had the invoice rejected three times now and the ticket responses are either non-sensical or just re-iterating that I haven't done these hours which I most definitely have as I put them on the invoice the second I finish each day. What a shambles! It just looks like they're trying to save some money. Daylight robbery. I'm so cross. Sorry, rant over!

Was hoping to revive my Appen account, but reading some of this I’m not too sure now. That’s really bad not paying for work, they have you over a barrel on many ways. Seems so unfair you do the work and they don’t pay up.

I’ve got just under the limit to withdraw and I want to get that money out. Hopefully an easy B* will come up soon.

Good news today and thanks to the poster who mentioned Vypr last month. I’d forgotten about it, so reinstalled the app and finally got to £5. Paid the same day as well.

I never had an issue with Appen until the Bane saga a few months back. I put that down to a rogue project manager but it now seems widespread. Luckily I haven't had an issue. All I can say is to make as much noise in the tickets and chat as possible. I think some people went on social media last time to name and shame and were threatening to contact the client.

it's been an odd month for it...I did a project on Testing Time and despite having screenshots to prove I've completed each stage the client has told them I didn't complete and ignored his 'many messages' . Bloody annoyed about that as well. I've emailed them the screenshots but they are now ignoring me
