Hi everyone. Welcome to the new thread.

@Gatekeeper I actually started to get quite jealous of your lovely cinema trip Grin I think we need a code word that we slip into calls to recognise fellow £10 a day-ers!

MrsWombat · 19/12/2020 09:41

Hello all. I'm really pleased I'm up to my £300 target already this month, and there is still plenty of month left.

I'm on a fab uTest project at the moment testing card transactions. I don't get reimbursed for the transactions this time (boo!) but I am getting £20-£30 per transaction and I'm buying stuff I'll need eventually anyway.

I've sold a respectable amount on Amazon and Redbubble, and I'm doing small bits of Crisp as and when. It's the school holidays now so everything is going to get more difficult!

Burnthurst187 · 19/12/2020 11:46

Hi, I'm new to this but have a fair amount of spare time once DD is asleep. I really need to earn some extra money, precious car developed a big fault and had to sell for a loss

What do you do on Potato? I see people saying 250-350 an hour, but what exactly?

I was thinking of registering with Appen to start with

Thanks

MrsWombat · 19/12/2020 12:12

@Burnthurst187 Potato (Crisp Thinking) is 250 tasks per hour not pounds. Once you are up to speed you will get £8-10 per hour. It's social media moderation. You get given tweets/facebook posts that have been flagged by bots and you have to decide what the risk is. Normally something that needs directing to customer service or deleted because it's not nice or flagged because it's a vulnerable person.

Definitely start with Appen and get on the waiting list for Crisp too. I like uTest too.

Gatekeeper · 19/12/2020 14:40

@MoreMoneyPlease Grin

me: "Izz zis the bus stop for Moscow?"
you/agent "Niet- I think it might rain"

etc etc

Burnthurst187 · 19/12/2020 16:12

Just did the online test on Crisp and scored 16/20. It says the pass mark is 19/20. There's not much room for error Angry

YonderTweek · 19/12/2020 16:25

@Burnthurst187 Yeah it's really tricky. I had to do it a couple of times to get 19. It was rather frustrating actually. Grin You can do it lots of times until you get there though.

Did you use the same registration details? Name etc?

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 19/12/2020 16:44

I don’t know who it is that has to listen to the N*vo calls but some of them are absolutely hilarious.
Would happily do this as a full time job. Very entertaining.

Haha. Yes there were some funny ones, I loved it and could happily do them all the time. I learnt so much too Xmas Grin
tinyradish · 19/12/2020 17:33

Really enjoying Fr :) wish I had more time to be able to do it but....toddlers. any other toddler mums find this frustrating? I could earn so much money hahaha

MoreMoneyPlease · 19/12/2020 18:12

@Gatekeeper Grin I’m definitely getting ‘bus stop’ and ‘Moscow’ into my next call!!

ElectricEels · 19/12/2020 19:29

@tinyradish yep!

ElectricEels · 19/12/2020 19:30

@Burnthurst187 yes you can use the same details

ruralwanderer · 19/12/2020 20:55

@tinyradish, my toddlers are evil when I put headphones on! They'll pretty much let me crack on with most things but audio typing...nope.

MrsWombat · 20/12/2020 07:09

Any tier 4 Crispers considering booking a Christmas Day shift so you can legitimately send the kids to the grandparents for an hour or so as a childcare bubble? I'm only partly joking

Redcrayons · 20/12/2020 08:13

I was thinking about that yesterday. Mine are teens so won’t be up till I drag them out Of bed.

MarigoldMoonStone · 20/12/2020 08:37

@ihavenoplans it took me over a month to get on Fr after they said I had been accepted, kept getting the bad gateway - never tried a different browser though so that's worth a try but then I just got an email saying it had been fixed and I could access it now.

How do you get on Neevo calls? Can they be done any time of day?

Frenchdoors1 · 20/12/2020 08:54

@MarigoldMoonStone The calls are only on for a few days and they email you.

YonderTweek · 20/12/2020 09:18

Grr. I applied for F***r but accidentally abandoned the process so it disappeared. Blush I've had absolutely no work from Ap in weeks (bar A44r) and I'm slightly annoyed because I have all this time in the evenings! I've been doing a bit of work for other companies but it doesn't pay as well and I won't see the money until Feb/March. I was hoping for a successful December but it's so slow. Haha. Never mind. At least I've had more time to bake and play with my son. Xmas Smile

ihavenoplans · 20/12/2020 15:37

Thanks Buster27, ruralwanderer and MarigoldMoonStone
I've tried different browsers and still nope. I'll just keep hanging on and trying every few days incase something changes.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy I was the second Scottish person then - but I only did one call, then had to leave it for the day.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 20/12/2020 19:08

I think everyone that joins N**vo can be added to the calls. They're between 9am and 9pm if I remember correctly.

Gatekeeper · 21/12/2020 10:48

I was accepted into Fer months ago but have never been able to work it as I get an error message each time. Have raised tickets but no response

tinyradish · 21/12/2020 11:11

@Gatekeeper it was months and months for me too but then I got an email saying I now had access. Don't give up hope!

YonderTweek · 21/12/2020 12:41

Quick question! I think someone here was doing something for Ap China? Did that work out? I've been invited to do some stuff on their platform but I have no idea how it works and I had a little look around and the site was quite glitchy (on a mobile anyway). Not sure if it's going to come to anything but wondered if anyone had any experiences of it?
