Can I ask a question about am again please grin sorry if I'm being a bit dim! if I get a courier email with a tracking number on do I go back and update the shipping to expecting the item today or is it just the initial tracking number that I get from the shop when it is dispatched and I put when I expect it to arrive based on their shipping times, hope that makes sense! Thanks

I am new to it and may be wrong but I am updating when I get a tracking number with a specific eta from the courier.

Not loads - maybe 4 or 5 sentences. I tend to use the questions they ask about the delivery and product as a prompt and elaborate on the answers to those.

@MacTheFork thank you! Sounds right to me, that's what I'm thinking because that's the last update before delivery and it gives a specific date/time, the other tracking just says it's on its way and usually where it is at the time you track it, not when to expect it.

After nearly 2 years I've just received an invite to join The Potato project. It's been so long since I applied I'd forgotten all about it. What I wanted to know is it worth the effort for the likely return? How much hours are experienced potato people putting in? Any advice would be appreciated

I am rejoining! And can I say a huge thank you to this thread. I have finally had an email (after a year!) For potato so will sign and take test soon. I'm bricking it! Also got onto N**e on Ap ans am very excited to start that. We really need this at the moment so really hope I can start making some money.

I've had an email inviting me to the next step with Potato too :D It's been nearly a year since I applied so they must be doing a mass recruitment? Quite looking forward to the test and hoping I don't screw it up! Didn't do Am## this month but I will apply for January's round and keep fingers crossed I get onto it as now I know the reimbursement works I'm much more confident about doing it again

@tinyradish I will go for PS4. Sadly no use to us but I am wondering if there is anyone I can pass it on to. The PC option is download only, plus I think it might cause my graphics card to have a fit of the vapours. I have a gas engineer here at the moment as we have no upstairs heating, so thought I had best twiddle my thumbs while he is here as I can't concentrate due to many questions about the intimate life of my boiler. I'll finalise the purchase when he leaves.

My am** purchases were the previously mentioned edible glitter with extortionate postage, necklace, candle, men's jeans, camera case and a pack of laminate flooring

Returning the necklace (deliberately chose an expensive one), camera case (as I don't own the camera) and maybe the men's jeans (depending if my husband likes them). Happily keeping candle, can't return glitter and laminate flooring probably isn't worth returning due to postage cost (but my friend reckons it might do her downstairs bathroom so it will hopefully get used).

All legit sites so just waiting for them to turn up now.

On Amur has anyone done both e-commerce and shops? I've got on to shops both times but I think it may be e-commerce where you get to choose an item. Not sure if they put you on the same workflow each month or if it can change

Like many others I've finally had the potato invite today! I've been quite on these threads the last few months as I've been lucky enough to get a promotion at work which has taken the pressure off immensely. I've also done Amur the past 2 months which hasn't been quite as profitable for me as others mostly due to the fact I'm a shopaholic and want to keep everything

3 Am purchased arrived today. Hand sanitizer, which smells amazing. Leggings that I'm gifting to my sister and a hair piece that I'm returning.

I still have one item outstanding from last month but I can't see how I can mark it not received. It's nearly a month over due. Any ideas? I thought an option appeared to do it.

@seizethecuttlefish the guidelines say to go to the review and put did not receive - 2 days after expected date if you got shipping info and 8 weeks after purchase if you didn't.

I think my first purchase that arrived was a semi scam. It was brought by an Amazon driver, in Amazon packaging with an Amazon receipt. The product was supposed to be rather luxurious but it was crap and all tatty and scuffed, AND I found the same product on Amazon for less than half the price. The website was a proper fancy rustic/hygge interior one so I thought I was getting something really nice. Boo! I'm so pleased I'm not out of pocket because there's no way they'll give me my money back because the internet tells me they don't respond to emails. But how cheeky is that?!

@ElectricEels did not receive hasn't popped up yet. I'll hang on. No way I'm getting it as they sent fake tracking and then ignored messages. I've asked my card for a refund and they've processed it. That's a positive.

Been doing Potato on and off and done a few files. If you're just starting out the files are a good way to get a decent hourly rate. I'm dreading it getting quiet again but embracing the mad surges.
