Hi everyone, sorry to hear about all the problems with A*. To be fair, I didn't think it would take as much time as it has taken me; there is so much to remember to do and I've spent most of the time flicking back and forth between guidelines etc! I still missed the fact that I was supposed to blank out my details on the screenshot, hopefully it won't affect my reimbursement.
@minnimiss I've got some strange things coming too! But actually some good stuff as well.

@Horehound the exact same thing happened to me on Rev ages ago! And then because my rating went down a tiny bit they got rid of me - I was so annoyed because I quite enjoyed that type of work.

Horehound · 04/11/2020 21:04

@Ilovefood1 yeh it's demoralising. That's why I spent so long making one perfect then that happened. Waste of time humph

I'm quite enjoying the work because you do actually learn a lot of topics as you go hehe

minnimiss · 04/11/2020 21:06

The strangest product had to be clear bubble type backpack from China designed to carry your cat on your back! Thankfully it wouldn't ship to my address! The professional massager with a RRP of £350 is on its way though and looks like it could really do some damage! Smile

AVL · 04/11/2020 21:08

Just logged into my credit card and have pending transactions for two of the shops, where they have charged me twice! Hope they sort themselves out when they move to confirmed. Hmm

Ilovefood1 · 04/11/2020 21:18

@Horehound Yeah I enjoyed it too, found out loads and even had a reality tv show one with Snoop Dogg in it, loved that one Grin

@minnimiss Ooh the massager sounds good, the cat thing sounds hilarious, I'd love to see if my cat would go in it hahaha.

@AVL oh no that so bad, hope that gets sorted out soon!

TeddyDidIt · 04/11/2020 21:18

Just realised if I'd waited a day, it would all be on the next month's credit card statement, as it runs to today - doh!

It wasn't all bad - one of the things was something we were going to buy anyway (and it's a much nicer one than we'd have bought), so DH is particularly pleased about that!
There are a couple of things that are useless to me and too weird to be gifts, but some decent things too. So on the whole, as long as they actually arrive, and reimbursement and double charge gets sorted, it will have been worth the stress!

Buster27 · 04/11/2020 21:41

I only ended up with five, had a couple that had to be skipped. All direct to one product so I didn't get any choice unfortunately, but all ok and from legit websites. My husband has done better out of it than me Hmm he's got a couple of decent items coming. One thing I'll keep as a nice treat for myself, a plain tshirt that I wouldn't have bought but will wear, and a beauty product that I will never use but it's a decent brand so will be easy enough to sell on.

Buster27 · 04/11/2020 21:44

The bubble backpack sounds.. interesting Grin bet there's some weird and wonderful things on their way to some am** people!

seizethecuttlefish · 04/11/2020 21:50

I have dog supplements coming and a pizza oven cover HmmDon't think I was winning this month lol.

OP posts:
Buster27 · 04/11/2020 21:53

.. do you have a dog and a pizza oven? Grin

YonderTweek · 04/11/2020 21:57

I've managed five purchases today and I'll do the rest tomorrow. Took me way too long to get all the documentation sorted but I think it'll be quicker now that I kind of know how to do it. I'm excited about some of the products and looking forward to seeing what else I can get tomorrow.

Prolific has been on fire today but I've been too busy to do any of it. Sad I actually quit a 7-pound survey because I haven't had the time to do it. Need more hours in the day at the moment!

@horehound That's why I stopped Rev. It's interesting work but I found that I was so paranoid about making mistakes that the triple checks took me way too long and in the end it wasn't very cost effective. I liked the audios though - I too felt like I was learning a lot.

Anyway, thanks so much for your help today! I was totally faffing at first but you were a major help. Smile

TeddyDidIt · 04/11/2020 22:02

I paid £15 for plastic shoe covers - basically plastic bags to protect your shoes if you fancy walking through a stream... as per the advert! Grin

seizethecuttlefish · 04/11/2020 22:07

@Buster27 I do not have a pizza oven! I was really hoping the pizza oven was in budget as that was what was advertised but it was wildly over so as per the guidelines I bought something and I'm hoping I can sell it on. I had 12 to do but one was not available and that was all they sold, the rest didn't load and I was down to 7 in the end. Quite relieved as I didn't have a great selection. Did make me realise that there is some insanely expensive tat out there!

OP posts:
seizethecuttlefish · 04/11/2020 22:09

@TeddyDidIt I had Silent Witness and crime scenes in my head Shock

OP posts:
Buster27 · 04/11/2020 22:09

@YonderTweek I was pretty slow too, and nervous, but it was fun seeing what products came up. Think I'd be much quicker if selected again (assuming I've done it right and reimbursement goes smoothly!).

@TeddyDidIt haha brilliant

Buster27 · 04/11/2020 22:11

@seizethecuttlefish a pizza oven would have been brilliant! I'm sure you'll be able to sell the cover on anyway.

unicornpoopoop · 04/11/2020 22:59

I didn't get any where I had a choice of what to purchase and there is definitely some rubbish.

But got a nice jumper and a nice next shelving unit

I'm thinking the stores with good returns policies, I will just send back.

What kind of thing were people putting in the last box? The comments box

Ilovefood1 · 05/11/2020 07:05

@unicornpoopoop I was writing things about how easy it was to find products, the layout of the website, how easy it was to checkout. etc.

Also, when is everyone doing the review part? As the deadline for that is soon but it's unlikely any of the products will arrive by then.

ruralwanderer · 05/11/2020 07:13

I wrote about how easy the site was to navigate, what factors led to my assumptions about item quality, any issues or concerns and anything that was different about any site than I'd usually expect.

We can't do the reviews until the items arrive (or don't in which case they need to be marked as undelivered), but there is good guidance on this on the project page so worth a look if you're unsure :)

Ilovefood1 · 05/11/2020 07:50

@ruralwanderer thank you, I'll take a look :)

unicornpoopoop · 05/11/2020 07:56

I'm now worried that I didn't write enough. I kept it quite brief thinking that the main review would be once the items came but I'm now thinking maybe I kept it too brief.

Do we have to do anything else for payment? Other than fill in the reimbursement forms?

Winterjoy · 05/11/2020 09:00

Anyone finding Neevo is running really slow? Two of the tasks are taking 20-30 seconds to load each variation for me, which makes it barely worth the overall time!

Also gutted I spent about 40 mins this morning working on a task only for it to disappear from dashboard and no sign of the completed tasks in my work history. It was a 0.50 per task one as well Angry

YonderTweek · 05/11/2020 09:31

Oh yeah I had that with N*o. I gave up in the end. Hmm

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 09:39

So I noticed quite a few people waiting to hear from support about job id. Some of the merchants have come back to me saying they can't refund as its already been shipped. Keeping my fingers so crossed. Learned from my mistakes

Buster27 · 05/11/2020 10:56

@unicornpoopoop I didn't put much in the comments, also thinking I was too brief now! Hopefully will be ok.

@Rad2016 hope it gets sorted, given how many people have missed the job ID part I would hope they're lenient/rethink the process for that part.
