Hi everyone. Welcome to the new thread.

Here are some links - none of them are referral links :)

@MrsWombat I'm on the same Utest project, My DS has already told me he no longer wants to help though!

TeddyDidIt · 03/11/2020 11:12

@MrsWombat I'm on that Utest one too! We're looking forward to starting Smile

TeddyDidIt · 03/11/2020 11:16

My total for October is around £450 - mainly Neevo, Utest and FB selling. Also a good amount on Prolific.
I have some freelance work coming in and hopefully some of these Appen projects will come to fruition, so aiming for £600 this month.

MrsPretzels · 03/11/2020 11:34

@Mancbee @ElectricEels I sent a ticket last night asking about it, will let you know when they respond. I reckon it's the same platform and they'll just add on the tool at some point but we shall see

Mancbee · 03/11/2020 11:42

Thanks @MrsPretzels Smile that's what I'm thinking too, it makes sense but I'm just so nervous of getting it wrong!

CocoPrivileges · 03/11/2020 12:32

Some great totals there - very inspiring!

@MrsWombat @TeddyDidIt @lilmishap I'm also on that Utest project! DS is very motivated to help out as I've promised him a share of the earnings! Have just read the email about what we need to do for week one - hopefully it'll be fun and not too onerous!

seizethecuttlefish · 03/11/2020 14:02

Potato people, anyone had shifts pop up all of a sudden?

OP posts:
Tattiespuds · 03/11/2020 14:04

@seizethecuttlefish It was mentioned on Slack that they are releasing more shifts due to the US elections.

seizethecuttlefish · 03/11/2020 14:07

@Tattiespuds thanks. I don't usually get access to shifts so just wondering if I can take one?

OP posts:
Fizbo · 03/11/2020 14:08

@seizethecuttlefish mine have just all gone in about 3 minutes! Only one left now for 4 am Confused

0htooooodles · 03/11/2020 14:08

@seizethecuttlefish they were shifts specifically for the normal ppi queues

seizethecuttlefish · 03/11/2020 14:12

Thanks all. I've grabbed one. Was just luck as I was looking at the phone when the notification came through.

MoreMoneyPlease · 03/11/2020 14:14

I'm still plodding away, mainly on Appen (my one hour a day task will be coming to an end soon so must get my arse into gear on other projects), Prolific, Intellizoom, Neevo etc. Made about £400 last month which is down on previous months but had a few personal things going on so was hard to focus. And I paid my SA tax bill so that was October's money gone immediately!

One of my favourites is Testbirds, I don't get many jobs from there but they do pay well and are quite simple if anyone fancies signing up. nest.testbirds.com/home/tester?t=77795766-ef73-4dee-a70a-f99557cc1efe

Buster27 · 03/11/2020 14:15

I managed to grab one, didn't realise they were going to be open to everybody but happened to notice the email (most of them were snapped up by the time I got on though!).

Redcrayons · 03/11/2020 14:17

Missed all the shifts. Was on a video call and couldn’t get my laptop open discreetly to log in.

I’m planning a couple of extra hours tonight and an early start tomorrow. Shame you can’t view the queues out of the tool anymore.

Rad2016 · 03/11/2020 15:42

Finally got the email from A on Appen. Anyone else?

Christianartistmum · 03/11/2020 15:54

Yes.. it’s arrived !! Got it too!

Christianartistmum · 03/11/2020 15:56

Oh maybe still need to wait on one more email from A by the looks of things!

YonderTweek · 03/11/2020 16:05

Yep I got one too. I just know I'll be checking my emails throughout the night trying to spot the email and Trump news. 😅

Rad2016 · 03/11/2020 16:55

It's funny how it's worded. Looks like we still need another email. It does mention though you can start on the November launch something like that. Let's wait and see.. And definitely Trump news tooGrin

Tattiespuds · 03/11/2020 17:34

Sorry @seizethecuttlefish I'd come offline. I know you've got one now, but yeh you can take them and if a surge comes in during the shift you will be paid more than the £10ph.
I was going to take one but changed my mind, think I'm too early days to commit to a full hour non stop in the early hours 😂

seizethecuttlefish · 03/11/2020 18:59

@Tattiespuds I know what you mean. It's taken me ages to build up to an hour. Still prefer smaller chunks though. Been on it ages and never been offered shifts so I got a bit excited Confused I don't think I'll be getting offered proper ones anytime soon.

My Ap regular project ended today so I'm trying to build up more work. Neevo is still not my preferred choice but there isn't much out there. Was trying to sit the Rat* project on A but it's not working and support haven't replied to my email.

For the guys about to start on Am*r:

IMPORTANT: when you get to purchasing your items, MAKE A NOTE OF THE JOB ID for each item. Once you have left the page to move on to the next item to purchase, you can’t go back and look at previous items, and you need this job ID to input on the reimbursement system.

It’s a good idea to keep a word doc/spreadsheet for each item you buy, noting down the Job ID, purchase date, price, shipping cost, URL of the item you buy and expected delivery date.
Also screenshot the advert page, the actual item on the website and your order confirmation.

Happy shopping :))

ruralwanderer · 03/11/2020 19:29

Thanks @GailLondon for the tips! :)

Sonmi451 · 03/11/2020 19:43

Hi all, I've not been around for a while, I got a bit demoralised setting up accounts over and over again, only to then be told I wasn't allowed because of being on the Isle of Man. I put it aside with the grand total of zero earnings, to look at again later, and that was in August....

Anyway, I've just had an email from Appen inviting me to register with Appen China, for a transcription project. Anyone else get that? I've registered successfully, but there's a sort of application flowchart at the bottom of the screen, and underneath that it says "You should do job qualification to apply the job." I'm not sure what to do next. My status on the flowchart is "applying" so I don't know whether I'm waiting for them, or they're waiting for me. Anyone any idea? Thanks!

Other than that, I've been dabbling with Trading 212 (did NOT get a free share), and am about 47p up from that, but I feel like it's too time consuming for the few pennies, and am reluctant to risk much cash.

I've been looking into matched betting too, but am not sure about that yet, more research needed.
