Hi everyone, hoping to join in with these threads! I have been a long time lurker but have finally decided to give it a go as I really need to boost my income after a terrible year financially (but hasn't it been for everyone!) Have finally had my account verified with Appen but finding it difficult to get any jobs - have literally applied for everything I think I am capable of doing so will wait and see if anything comes off! Have also signed up with Neevo, Clickworker, Prolific and Intellizoom but also struggling to get any tasks, is the trick to keep logging in and continuously looking for tasks to pop up?

Having not had much success with anything else as of yet I'm also considering having a go at matched betting, although am a bit nervous about this one. If anyone has any positive stories to share they would be gratefully received

@RedGirl99 yep it's really quiet everywhere at the moment, has been for weeks for me.
Think it's because a lot more people want work than ever before under the current climate.

@Redcrayons Appen can take ages. I think I waited 7 months before I was offered a proper project. And yes everywhere seems quiet right now.

Thank you guys so much. We had such big plans as my husband and I were turning 40, him October and me November. Its been good all the same.

Is anyone else having issues trying to log on to potato? I've tried several times for the last 9ish hours and I'm not getting the text through with the authentication code. It's very frustrating!! I've restarted and switched phone off and on a few times and it's still not coming through grrr!

@bananamuffin99 send them an email to get your account reset and sign up for the guardian app when you rest it. I had that problem yesterday.

@MrsWombat is the guardian app for potato? What is it? I'm finding potato slower than usual even though there have been so many surges.

@peabrainer it's an app you use to generate an authentication code. Much quicker.

Hi all, how are you all?
I was a regular on these threads at the beginning of the year but disappeared. Hope you'll have me back?

The last time I posted I think I was around 5 or 6 months pregnant.

Since then I welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world in early July, but was also made redundant the same week :(

Life at home with 2 during a pandemic is tough but finding the money to pay all the bills is tougher!

Hope I can use these threads as a boost again to get back on my feet. Hope I'm ok to come back?

@MoreMoneyPlease Ap seem to be pushing it a lot atm. I gave it a miss but found it in my pending projects later on. I abandoned mission but I have just received an email saying I've been selected to do it. Haha. Maybe I'll have to give it a go now!

I stupidly applied for every single iOS job going and have just been told that the retailer selling me my iPhone is unable to sell it to me now. D'oh! Need to find a new one...
