Hi everyone. Welcome to the new thread.

I also just got reply to enter zero. Thank God

whysotriggered · 05/11/2020 17:53

@Rad2016 yep although I still don't regret cancelling some of my orders! And to be honest if as a result of this they never asked me back on to do another one, I would be fine Grin

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 17:55

@whysotriggered I so do not regret at all. Am not sure I want to do this again if am being honest.

Ilovefood1 · 05/11/2020 17:58

I also didn't know about the naming thing, hoping it will be fine!

Wow can't believe some of you have had your stuff already, I'm expecting one tomorrow and some next week. Out of the 13 items I had to buy I've bought 7. I had to skip two so have 4 left to buy which I'll do tomorrow. I don't know why it's taking me so long, I'm still nervous every time I do one! I do hope I get picked again because I am enjoying it and I've some okay items - well we'll see what they're actually like when they arrive.

For those of you who have received products, have you done any reviews yet? What's the review bit like?

I also had issues with Neevo today, taking ages to load so I gave up in the end.

YonderTweek · 05/11/2020 17:59

I've just seen it in the chat too. That's great news. Perhaps they're not that strict with little details if they're happy to do that. Smile

I got my first item too. It's a really expensive pair of Nikes and I'm too scared to open the box. Lol. I'll have to properly see what I've bought and report back. Maybe we could do a swap if there's unwanted stuff?

I really need to get on with K&&x before they kick me out for not doing my hours. Halloween Grin

TheSeedsOfADream · 05/11/2020 18:14

You've all put me off if I do get accepted next month. I'd get an ulcer with the stress! Grin Are you all getting lovely things for your troubles? I hope so!

I still haven't heard back from them about Nile disappearing from my jobs despite me having done the full month on it and it being my 9th month. Looks like I've been kicked off it for some reason, and I'm very cross, especially after sitting dutifully through another month of American tractor tyre ads etc. Hmm.

Best get Potato rolling again I suppose.

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 18:14

I wonder what I will review for the item I cancelled and asked for refund?

whysotriggered · 05/11/2020 18:24

@rad2016, I am just going to ignore it. I obviously won't apply for reimbursement and if they ask will just say still waiting. I think once next round starts unfinished ones are dropped.

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 18:27

That's better. Will do same.

tootyfruitypickle · 05/11/2020 20:48

I’m agog, you’re all much braver than me! Hopefully you’ll all have a really good november as a result.

Meanwhile scaredy cat me earned 65p today on prolific Grin

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 22:19

Hi guys, quick question please. So we have to convert everything to local currency? I've looked at their conversion rate which is 0.75. I have no idea what to do here. Sorry about my ignorance. Hands in my face

seizethecuttlefish · 05/11/2020 22:35

Everything I bought was in pounds so that was the local currency. Was yours euros? Dreading if that happens and I have to convert. Confused

OP posts:
Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 22:40

Its crazy as I had euros, and dollars.

Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 23:12

Got it sorted thanks. I hate the amount of energy this is taking me to do

YonderTweek · 05/11/2020 23:26

Phew! I think I'm all done. I have to do one screenshot tomorrow and job's a good un. I also feel that it has taken way longer than necessary and that the guidelines desperately need updating, but if it all goes ok with the reimbursements I think I would be happy to do it again. Grin

I had some decent products, like the Nikes and this super fluffy cow print hoodie, a dress, yoga pants, a blackhead vacuum (this is hilarious because my husband had just said that he fancied getting one!) and a couple of hoodies etc. I also got this mega flash phone case for the iPhone 12 but no one I know uses iPhones. Grin I guess I could try to sell it. Or return it later if I can. Hmm.

Ooh I think someone mentioned Ipsos Earlier. I'm absolutely constantly getting emails frem them asking me to do surveys but I just haven't got time for surveys much anymore. I really like their surveys and when I started out this summer I was getting £5-10 Amazon vouchers at least once a month. Would recommend. Smile

seizethecuttlefish · 05/11/2020 23:27

@Rad2016 I don't envy you that one! Do you have to work out import taxes and stuff? I'm hoping it gets easier with each round but this one caused me brain melt.

I managed to fail an exam for another Ap project this week. I just have no luck with the long term ones. I got offered the quiz on Rat...but I couldn't get it to work and messaged support, who were useless so didn't manage it.

I've been trying to do more Potato but I think after Christmas I might look at some of the WFH customer service jobs. Just need something a bit more reliable.

OP posts:
Rad2016 · 05/11/2020 23:49

@seizethecuttlefish, i figured an easier way of doing it with help from chat. Check Sensee, they are hiring for customer service roles WFH. I have a friend who just got a job, taking calls for BUPA customers. Check it out.

TeddyDidIt · 06/11/2020 07:49

@Ilovefood1 I've done 2 reviews - the questions were straightforward (although some were worded a bit unusually). You'll need to upload a photo of the product and write a summary at the bottom. At first it looked like the review weren't submitting properly, but I have just gone back in to check and it says they are done.

minnimiss · 06/11/2020 08:15

Re Sensee, I used to work in the Bupa home agent role and it is surprisingly stressful! I wouldn't recommend it. But I guess we are all different and some people may like it.

SidVisk · 06/11/2020 08:41

@minnimiss I have always kept on eye on S3nsee as when all of the kids are of school age I will likely need to change roles to get different hours.
Do you have to scramble to get the hours you want?

Rad2016 · 06/11/2020 08:45

I work with arise virtual call centre. Taking calls at home. It is so stressful and will not recommend to anyone at all. I do make some good money but just because I've been in it for a while now. The whole system is so American and so unfair in so many ways that it'll take me all day explaining.

TeddyDidIt · 06/11/2020 09:16

Question for seasoned users of Ap* please. It's my first month and my projects have auto generated invoices - do I have to submit the invoice myself or are the invoices submitted automatically as well as filled out automatically? I feel like I've seen that they are, but can't find it now! TIA

ruralwanderer · 06/11/2020 09:18

They're filled out automatically @TeddyDidIt but you need to submit. I think you've missed the deadline for submission for this month though so you'll need to submit two invoices next month (it's usually the 4th at 5PM PST).

TeddyDidIt · 06/11/2020 09:29

Ah... thanks @ruralwanderer

TeddyDidIt · 06/11/2020 09:31

Bit annoying as when I looked 2 days ago it had only run to 26/10; not it is to 31/10 as it should be. Oh well, not a huge amount anyway.
