Re: Yawn's obsession with painting everything ... she makes out that it's her hobby and that she's wonderfully creative and talented but actually it just shows that she doesn't have cash to splash.

Take the 2 bathrooms that she's just done a makeover on. Painted tiles, in reality, look a bit shit (sorry to anyone who has painted tiles)...you paint tiles when you can't afford to replace them. She loves her house so why not throw a bit of money at buying new tiles and getting a tiler in....because she hasn't got the money.

Take the "bot potty" ....if you were serious about wanting a guest toilet for garden parties/get-togethers/sleepovers in the shed garden office you'd get a plumber in and install a loo and running water but this costs money hence the camping toilet and jug of water.

Take the caravan .... if she had money they would have bought a decent motor home or quirky VW campervan but of course, these can be megabucks...caravans like Yawn's are very cheap by comparison. She can paint the fuck out of it, post lots of heavily filtered photos (close-up finish is likely to be very poor) and have her adoring fans like GemBot/PreciousStoneBot thinking that it's the most aspirational thing ever.

Short cuts in other words.

Yeah, I am slightly at the bots all presenting caravans and 'lodges' (statics) as aspirational. I've got nothing against a caravan holiday - can find cheap deals, often close to beaches/nature walks etc, can have playground/entertainment for kids depending on type of caravan holiday - but it's not 10k per month/500k bonus level of aspirational.

PHd is at least still going to swanky looking resorts in her attempts to look aspirational...

Oh lordy, my friend (and I mean close friend) has messaged me to say she is doing JP and can I help her by sharing her posts. I cringe at the thought of it but really don't want to offend her. I like her very much. I know she was looking for work and she's clearly listened to a couple, one of them an 'online PT' (mlm salesman) selling this as a fitness programme.

Will she take offence if you respectfully explain why you won't support her?

No I don't think she would long term, I think she may be a bit annoyed and defend herself initially though, it also makes me feel really uncomfortable approaching it. I know she has only asked me because someone else has told her to and she's listening to all they say. She has now put some morning quote about positivity which she would never do in a million years! She is being told what to post, it's already obvious. I may just have to be 'too busy' for FB for a while and hope it dies off soon.

The snooze option on FB is very useful I find 😉

I really hope that Mr Yawn knows what's he's doing removing furniture from the caravan. It's the furniture that creates the structural integrity of the caravan. I have visions of the whole thing wobbling as it's towed down the motorway

Did anyone see the Friday Night Dinner episode with the caravan on the drive and Martin did it up, switched on an illuminated sign and the whole thing caught fire? It was hilarious.

I've been pondering Broke's absence from his FB Page, and another poster saying his ex had reported him to the Police on his now deleted post. I think he's got himself arrested, possibly for Harassment or some kind of Malicious Communications offence and the cops have seized his phone from him for examination hence his lack of posts....

I don't disagree that she doesn't have any money but they need to be stickers in the caravan. Normal tiles will be too heavy and push them closer to the tow limit of the car. I can't imagine Yawn is someone who travels light so they need to save weight wherever they can
