Anyone on the new Al**C project? I started the exam which said 18 questions, got to q6 and it took me back to the project page.

It seems to be on my projects page and has a work this button but I didn't finish the exam so not sure whats going on.

seizethecuttlefish · 18/07/2020 10:57

@horehound email them and challenge it. You usually get something. If the job hasn't finished yet, you won't have been paid but I found to get money out of them. I got just over half of what I was owed. They are shady!

MrsWombat · 18/07/2020 11:41

@anxiouswaiting You're not the only one! Same thing happened to me and everyone else in the chat room.

Azerothi · 18/07/2020 11:53

@anxiouswaiting and me

DownThePlath · 18/07/2020 12:28

@Horehound
I just noticed that yesterday too! Really quite annoying that they changed guidelines so rapidly.

Horehound · 18/07/2020 13:09

Well, if they get it wrong and give us incorrect instructions then change them, they need to tell us they've changed them!

Basically, someone at their end has made a mistake but they will cover for it by saying we are doing it wrong. I bet they secretly update them so they themselves don't get in trouble.

Horehound · 18/07/2020 13:09

Just my opinion anyway!

Tinging · 18/07/2020 13:38

@Horehound did you not get a email? I had an email at 1:00am yesterday to say the guidance had been changed for the healthcare validation?

Horehound · 18/07/2020 13:41

Oh! No I didn't get it!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/07/2020 08:56

Surely they need to 'honour' the ones done with incorrect guidance. I reckon I'd done 3/5 before I go the email. So annoying!

Horehound · 19/07/2020 11:26

Has anyone been the agent for the calls? It says they pay $15 an hour but is that regardless of if there are calls or is is made up of the 4-5min calls? Meaning you could be doing 12 calls for the 15. Whereas as a customer it's 3.25 per call

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/07/2020 11:35

I did that healthcare one up to the maximum. I think it was underpaid at 2cents per assessment. It was relatively quick to do but the 'loading' between statements doubled if not tripled the time it should have taken to assess the validity of each one.

Horehound · 19/07/2020 11:53

Yeh not a fan of the healthcare or automative one really. Very low value. And I have googled some car stuff to make sure it's a cat not a commercial thing too

Horehound · 19/07/2020 11:54

And I'm not going to do the photos of clothing either. Taking screenshots then editing. For 5cents. No way

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/07/2020 11:55

@Horehound thought it was 50cents but still...

Horehound · 19/07/2020 11:59

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 I didn't think so but it seems to have closed so I can't check. I didn't do any anyhoo

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 19/07/2020 12:37

@Horehound that came and went very quickly! I didn't even think it worth doing for 50 cents per photo.

ohmygiddiest · 19/07/2020 12:46

@Horehound I have done the calls. If there aren't any calls for 10 minutes you need to log out. So you find yourself spending a lot of time logging in, waiting for 10 mins, logging out then repeating the cycle until you have built up 8 hours. It ended up taking me a week to do so not a great return for my time. I won't do any work for them again as they aren't trustworthy at all, there are terrible reviews for them on Facebook!

Horehound · 19/07/2020 13:38

So far the only issue I've had is the very first job where they stopped me at 51 and haven't paid. I haven't even contacted them about that yet. but the calls have gone fine, think I'll stick to bring the customer because I can get on and do things until im called.

I've had another 6 quid from prolific but the surveys do go very fast from there

mrssnow82 · 19/07/2020 13:59

51 tasks unpaid is just not good enough @Horehound ! They should be paying for the tasks that you have done.

If any one needs a Freetrade link. It expires tomorrow so be quick if you want it: freetrade.io/freeshare/?code=R64S5CLSRJ&sender=bWnsAMiR
