I've been on a few transcription ones and I find them torture. I usually get about 2 weeks then bumped off them. I was on a Scottish one where they marked me down for misspelling a colloquialism. Hmm

Buster27 · 10/07/2020 10:03

I managed to pass ac*, barely I assume as I couldn't transcribe much of the audio! I've made good money on transcription projects in the past but unless the audio is better quality than the test this will be a nightmare.

Horehound · 10/07/2020 11:12

OOOH I'm on the queue for the Neevo customer service calls :)

@Horehound have you joined Appen recently? Azerothi thanks for the advice I’ll await email links
Baby89 · 10/07/2020 11:41

@Horehound, sorry I meant Neevo Blush

Azerothi · 10/07/2020 12:02

@Baby89 No problem :)

WonderTweek · 10/07/2020 12:16

I'm scared of the Neevo calls. Blush I've been putting them off because I hate telephone work. And to be fair, I can't seem to find a good time to do it. I think I'll give it a go later on today if I get a minute...

DownThePlath · 10/07/2020 15:44

Place marking - hope it's okay if I barge in here! I'm currently unemployed (going into my final year of university in September) and whilst DP's job is extremely secure and we're financially stable (I appreciate we're lucky) we're definitely not a large income household, so I've signed up for quite a few of these for some extra money. Signed with Appen, but my profile says it's still waiting for registration? Am I meant to do something? I've got some projects queued, but can't progress at the minute. Passed Crisp with 20/20 yesterday so hopefully will get something with that soon. Just did the REV quiz ... lord knows how that one went though Grin.

I'm doing surveys whilst I wait for the bigger project sites to get back to me. Made quite a bit from Profilic and Qmee - they're rather enjoyable.

For those that like prolific, another similar one is Testable Minds

Or non referral link

Very similar in that there's no screen out and you have to be logged in to grab a space while it's there
Between $1 - $3 per survey

MrsWombat · 10/07/2020 17:57

Bane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tootyfruitypickle · 10/07/2020 18:03

I can’t do it, dinner to make! So annoying

Horehound · 10/07/2020 18:14

Regarding Neevo I’m put down as a native speaker ? I speak two languages but my main language is English.

Horehound · 10/07/2020 18:36

Yeh that's correct then @Baby89

MrsWombat · 10/07/2020 19:17

Managed 53 minutes on UK and US Bane. Better than nothing!

Horehound · 10/07/2020 19:22

Sorry @Baby89 I see what you mean...hmm

seizethecuttlefish · 10/07/2020 19:24

Got some B done! Whoop whoop. Hoping there are a few other wee bits coming.

Baby89 · 10/07/2020 19:27

@Horehound , I don’t want to be singled out if I speak two languages , my second language- not very flaunt and don’t know how to read/write in it. Might change to English only and see what happens

Horehound · 10/07/2020 19:29

Yeh I think I'd do that @Baby89

tootyfruitypickle · 10/07/2020 19:46

Is Bane out now ? Can’t be bothered to log on to check!

Catatemyhomework · 10/07/2020 19:51

Quite enjoyed that quick stint on B*. Would like to get that every day! Smile. The US ones are trickier though as we don't have access to half the websites.

WonderTweek · 10/07/2020 20:03

@Baby89 I'm bilingual too! I think I just put English down as my main language and the other one as an additional language. I was thinking of leaving the other one out entirely but thought that maybe knowledge of two or more languages might actually be beneficial.

I didn't get round to doing those calls. I ended up doing the Rev assessment instead. I'd like to try the calls but I feel like I would just break character and start laughing or something. Confused

Catatemyhomework · 10/07/2020 20:09

The Neevo calls are honestly alright once you get into it. I ended up enjoying them. Also met people from here and made a lovely friend! Smile I would recommend doing them. Plus $15 an hour is good money. Would love to do them again but not allowed as done them previously.

Baby89 · 10/07/2020 20:13

Do I put English native ? Or flaunt- for the Neevo
