. Oh and needing to be constantly praised and admired

chockaholic72 · 02/04/2020 14:28

Ugh, I've just had a message through from someone I know inviting me to join an "online Temple Spa" class. Not a brand I've heard of - presuming this is an MLM?

Maydayredalert · 02/04/2020 14:29

Not sure if an MLM, I went to a spa which used their products and they were nice enough but very pricey.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 02/04/2020 14:48

Temple Spa have really lovely products but I won't touch them now thanks to their 'Lifestyle Consultant' business.

Jigsawpuzzle · 02/04/2020 15:29

Just read on another site not bot related somebody bleating about why did I buy 2020 diary. At least kids will have scribbling paper and if you run out of loo roll 🧻

CompleteBarstool · 02/04/2020 15:30

Oh here we go,I wondered how long it would be....join me in doing a C9

And yes, it came from Yawn, who else?

Jigsawpuzzle · 02/04/2020 16:01

So why did Yawn send hubby on shopping mission then?
I note not much engagement on her Island 🏝🏖 sessions.

Jigsawpuzzle · 02/04/2020 18:12

Just saw Yawns diary 📔 and she has gone heavy handed with the team power hours.
My cynical radar is twitching.

acatcalledjohn · 02/04/2020 18:50

Yawn is on yet another C9?

Guessing that vegan lifestyle didn't last long then.

Meanwhile I'm WFH full time, cooking every meal from scratch, and losing weight. All it takes is a bit of calorie counting. I still bake and have treats.

It's not hard.

Mind you, I don't have a crumbling finances to drown in alcohol each night.

MoonahStone · 02/04/2020 18:51

Interesting MLM post live now in AIBU sorry on app and can't work out how to post a link

Tennistime · 02/04/2020 19:34

Bruv’s posted a warning from one of his buddies (excuse the grammar):

Unfortunately mate scammers and thieves are still operating in all kind shapes and forms in a time when humanity should be uniting.

..... is this irony, or just ignorance?

Jigsawpuzzle · 02/04/2020 19:51

Bruvs mate is a commentator for Talksport and ex police 👮‍♂️

Whiterangey · 02/04/2020 20:57

Why has Yawn got a HR expert on her deserted island?

Surely a benefits expert would be better. So many people out of work or working from homes that HR isn't really necessary. There is a slide talking about annual leave. Is that so people can go on their summer holidays to somewhere nice and sunny?

fromdownwest · 02/04/2020 21:43

10,000 people on Castles Genius online creation. Each video I’ve dropped in on has about 4 viewers?

wetpants · 02/04/2020 21:45

Hi, lurker here. I’ve just seen our local Aloe bot to post on our local FB page about sponsoring hand creams to NHS staff. You can sponsor at £9.80 per tube and she will coordinate the tubes directly to the hospital staff. So fucking sinister 🤬

I live in a naice middle class area which is primarily families with young kids. They are falling over to be seen #bekind so will fall for this horseshit. The worst is that the aloe bot thinks she’s genuinely doing a good thing.

I’m itching to comment on the thread but sadly I’m a wuss. I don’t have the energy to enter into an on line fight and as I have a small business myself, I worry about the repercussions 😔

Bluewavescrashing · 02/04/2020 21:50

Castle has bought her 10k likes or members or whatever. Sad.

Spongebobette · 02/04/2020 22:24

Nurse claims to have had the grand total of 20 women on her input on ‘the island’

She’s not very good at this is she; Yawn would have claimed hundreds tuned in

CodenameVillanelle · 03/04/2020 07:05

Wetpants can you set up a burner Facebook account to post on the thread?

DownThePan · 03/04/2020 14:30

One of Yawn's teamies said she does 3 or 4 C9s a year. A YEAR! That's around £400. That would buy you a gym membership and some sessions with a personal trainer which would be a far more sustainable way to manage your weight than relying on some temporary starvation diet that is nothing but damaging to the body, mind and wallet.

Maydayredalert · 03/04/2020 14:55

God what a depressing waste of money. And surely if they were so good, you would keep the weight off and wouldn't need the second, third or 4th? Are they actually sold as a weight loss product?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 03/04/2020 16:12

Bots don't do C9s to actually get results themselves.
They are told that the only way to sell C9s is to do one themselves alongside those they flog it to (as a 'mutual encouragement' thing).
Of course this means one more C9 sold for FLP and the upline.
When my OH (ex) sold a C9 (very exciting, big ticket item!), she would then spend more money than she'd made on that C9 on one for herself to 'accompany her customer'. Absolute insanity!

Bluewavescrashing · 03/04/2020 16:13

Uber is pimping out her toddler again, this time she's wearing a bikini. Ugh.

Sforsh49 · 03/04/2020 16:44

This is Yawns second C9 that I know of this year. One a quarter. I'd rather just count calories instead, lost a stone doing that in January and it was cheaper and far more pleasant than drinking that disgusting gloop!
