TheLolaMontez · 17/02/2020 08:09

Just finished a very slow shift on cloudworkers - picked up a little bit towards the end but no where near as much as traffic 😩 back on again this afternoon, hopefully it will pick up a bit...

rhij86 · 17/02/2020 08:31

Back for another week!
DH and I came down with a horrific stomach bug last week that I'm only just getting over now, so that wrote off most of it for me. Still managed £45 on UHRS, so although I'm not at the £10 a day for the month so far, I'm a damn sight closer than I was in January!

This week I'll be concentrating on UHRS inbetween tasks in my day job, and LB in the evenings. As always I'll have prolific running in the background but I didn't get a single survey last week.

anxiouswaiting · 17/02/2020 08:34

Did anyone else do the utest utterences that should have been 6 weeks? I did week 1 and was paid but haven't had anything about doing further weeks.

MrsWombat · 17/02/2020 09:43

@anxiouswaiting I had a refer-a-family-member email about it last week and it said the starting date will be next Monday for the remaining 5 weeks. They are still looking for a large number of people.

Catatemyhomework · 17/02/2020 09:46

I had that email too @MrsWombat. It looks like good money if you can find anyone to refer. I don't have anyone unfortunately.

MrsWombat · 17/02/2020 09:49

For anyone who has a native UK accent and is interested in a 5-week project. One hour a week for around £12 for each week. You will need a windows 10 laptop/PC and be willing to install the windows insider ring. (Full instructions given) www.utest.com/projects/voice-assistant-fn-ux

Februarycat · 17/02/2020 10:00

@TheLolaMontez Oh hope it picks up I'm doing a shift at 11, does seem to be slow on there at the moment

TheLolaMontez · 17/02/2020 10:03

Are you on the one platform for them or have you got access to others @Februarycat ? I'm on bigbuck but I don't like doing that one much. There's not much traffic on that either though really

Catatemyhomework · 17/02/2020 10:15

@MrsWombat, I thought about posting it on here, but I wasn't sure as I think we need to refer each person as an issue, i.e. have their actual name and UTest number once they've signed up. I think it then said that we the referrers would get paid and then have to pay the referrees. It looked a bit complicated to me but I may have read it wrong.

MoreMoneyPlease · 17/02/2020 10:15

Hope things are a bit easier for you this week @otterses

@TheLolaMontez Let us know how you get on with Fiverr! I've signed up, just need to get my ads on.

Februarycat · 17/02/2020 10:22

@TheLolaMentez I am only on the one platform, did not know they had others. Let's hope it picks up soon

TheLolaMontez · 17/02/2020 10:23

So far no one wants my advice @MoreMoneyPlease Grin watch this space...

MrsWombat · 17/02/2020 10:24

@Catatemyhomework Yes, that did look complicated. I've just shared the project here in case anyone who hasn't signed up wanted to sign up without the referral nonsense. Grin Like with Appen, I would recommend uTest without the referral fee.

Flube · 17/02/2020 10:28

@MrsWombat I haven't bothered referring anyone for the utterances, as I queried it in the chat, and was told that they submit the utterances through your utest account and we then get their payment paid into our account.

So it's our responsibility to pay those we've referred. Seems a lot of hassle.

Flube · 17/02/2020 10:35

Thanks @Lougle! I guess the first academy project I did put me off a bit, I spent hours yet could not find any bug despite being reassured their was plenty! Second academy project, I found one within a couple of mins. 3rd one, I struggled finding any again but instead of putting in extra effort I gave up and concentrated on other things.

Hearing how well you've done and getting a favourite tester, has spurred me on to put more effort in.

Catatemyhomework · 17/02/2020 10:47

So I've removed the porn blocker from my computer and now all the adult content tasks are gone. In fact there's nothing on UHRS at all at the moment. Well not on mine anyway.

GachaBread · 17/02/2020 10:48

Pancake jobs have dropped on BeMyEye

TheLolaMontez · 17/02/2020 10:49

Nothing on mine either @Catatemyhomework I think they put one batch on and once they're all done they gather more and start again. That's the impression I get anyway

3dogsnorth · 17/02/2020 10:54

I got an invitation to the utest bbc thing but when I tried to claim a slot it said that an exception occurred and the slot was taken, despite it saying there are 498 slots available?

3dogsnorth · 17/02/2020 11:04

On clickworker what assessments do you have to take to access UHRS. I've done the basic English one and a creative writing one but still don't seem to have access, just the normal jobs

Catatemyhomework · 17/02/2020 11:13

Just done a $5 study on Intellizoom. I just had to speak into a microphone about my thoughts on a website. Easy enough.

Catatemyhomework · 17/02/2020 11:16

@3dogsnorth, under the assessments tab it should take you to them. They aren't always available. Not sure what the criteria are. For some people I think they become available once you've been on Clickworker for a while. If you have them, they'll be on the assessments tab.

nothingchangesonnewyearsday · 17/02/2020 11:18

Anyone get paid via PayPal yet? @BlackCatFan @otterseas never known it to take this long...

justtheonethen · 17/02/2020 11:36

@nothingchangesonnewyearsday are you talking about crisp? I got paid the day I put my invoice in.

spacepoppers · 17/02/2020 11:44

@GachaBread I saw them drop, and was really pleased because I was already IN one of the stores doing a cheeky Roamler task haha! And then....whilst I waited patiently for the five mins for it to become available, they got snapped up before they were available to me. Every. Single. One. Sigh. I mean, fair play to those higher level taskers, they've put the work in but, arrgggghhh sooooo annoying!
I meant to reply to you before actually, it's nice to know your first job meant as much to you. I'm really not sure I would have continued after that pet shop one if you hadn't dusted me down and put me back on the right track, so thank you again Smile
