January was also a quiet month for me, made about £268. Rough totals:

Appen: £40
Neevo: £18
Vypr: £5
Isoftstone: £30
Clickworker: £30
Matched betting: £75
Intellizoom: £20
Testing time: £50

Just got on a one hour a day Appen project a few days ago and access to UHRS so hopefully February will be better Smile

Thehop · 01/02/2020 15:00

Thanks so much for this. An excited newbie.

SNISR · 01/02/2020 15:12

@justtheone yes I'm the same, I qualified for one of them and got thrown out until tomorrow for making a mistake. Failed one of the tests as well.

justtheonethen · 01/02/2020 15:17

@SNISR same on the failing one. Ah well 🙈

BertieBotts · 01/02/2020 15:19

Marking place

BertieBotts · 01/02/2020 15:19

Thanl you for the new thread :) (Sorry, should have just said that :o)

Buster27 · 01/02/2020 15:29

Well, I hit £10 a day, but I'm aiming for £20 this year and was well off the mark in Jan (admittedly this was due to me being very lazy for the first half of the month, hopefully I can make up the shortfall in other months!). £333 mainly through matched betting (little bit of Crisp too and around a tenner from Prolific). Hoping for a better February, especially as I'm due DC2 in March so can imagine sleep will take priority over money making for a bit!

cheesenpickles · 01/02/2020 15:57

Can I join please? I've just been given my one month notice and feeling quite down in the dumps. Need to start thinking of ways to bring in extra £££ until I work out my next steps.

SimplyBlue · 01/02/2020 16:09

Ooh thanks for the new thread. Smile

Here is to a profitable February for us all. This January is the first month in a very, very long time, that I have not ended the month at the bottom of my overdraft and instead ended with some real positive money! Just £22 in the positive but usually I'm at -£8393947484 (not that much but it feels like it lol) so I'm really happy! Big hugs to all of you for the help, support and advice. Flowers

SimplyBlue · 01/02/2020 16:11

Oh I have another freetrade link to share if anyone needs one. Usual disclaimer of please don't use it unless you are going to make a deposit of at least £1, so that we can both get our free share Smile

You should sign up to Freetrade! It’s this app you can use to invest for free. Plus, when you sign up, we both get a free share - might be Apple or Tesla!

Boobahs · 01/02/2020 17:39

Getting really disheartened by the lack of opportunities. Just passed the UHRS test on Clickworkers but I won't hold my breath.

girlicorne · 01/02/2020 17:48

@Boobahs there is loads of work on UHRS not sure how well it pays though!!

Catatemyhomework · 01/02/2020 17:56

@Boobahs, try the UHRS stuff on Clickworkers. I've been doing it on and off today. There's 1000s of hits and it is quite quick work. I reckon you could really rack up earnings on it. I just sit down and do 10 minutes here and there. Been invited to another test cycle with UTest and signed up and evrything but can't find a bug yet. I am very impatient I think!

Lougle · 01/02/2020 18:01

@Catatemyhomework I think that's the way of bug hunting. I have saved several videos and got ready to type a bug report and then thought 'I'm not convinced that's a bug, now' and earlier, I reported a bug that made absolute sense in my head, but my TTL couldn't see it, or what they did see didn't convince them, so I had to discard it (I'm nowhere near brave enough to dispute a rejection yet!!).

Have you got the hang of blurring videos, etc.? Are you using Screencast-O-Matic?

ifuckarses · 01/02/2020 18:05

Just a question about the Clickworker UHRS thing, is it accessible on the mobile app? I only really use my laptop when I need to on uTest.

Also, I applied for Cloudworkers at the beginning of Jan, not heard anything so just replied to the confirmation of application email they sent seeing if it's still under review. Does it usually take a long time?

GachaBread · 01/02/2020 18:10

@ifuckarses it took me ages to get on cloudworkers hun, over 6 weeks from what I can remember. Other people here got on within a week. It's a bit hit and miss.

ifuckarses · 01/02/2020 18:15

@GachaBread phew, glad it's not just me! Was getting a complex that I'm not sexy enough Grin

madasaboxofcats · 01/02/2020 18:23

@bananamuffin99 I've noticed that too. Since yesterday mine has been fluctuating up and down. Not sure what's going on - anyone?

Catatemyhomework · 01/02/2020 18:25

@Lougle, I think you're well ahead of me. I don't think I've come across what you're talking about yet! Grin. I do need to do more, but the amount of time I spend on it and then earn £3 for a bug is a bit soul destroying. I keep thinking I'll get more experience, but everytime I have to set up my phone/computer for a different test, I come across a whole new set of technical issues that I have to get my head around. Spent 3 hours this morning getting test ready for a cycle I accepted. I now can't find a bug, although I have something but not sure how relevant it is as I'm not sure what the app is actually supposed to be able to do yet. I did get a bug accepted yesterday which I was really happy about because I was slightly apprehensive. I had to replicate it with a video and then thought it won't do it now but thankfully it did. I think UTest is like one step forwards and two backwards sometimes and it makes my head really spin! Grin

Lougle · 01/02/2020 18:40

It sounds like you're completely on the right track, tbh. I'm exactly the same. "You must blur out the personal details in your video" - errr....how? Oh, ok, like that... Next test cycle 'You must use

SpirallingThroughAnotherDay · 01/02/2020 18:43

@bananamuffin99 @madasaboxofcats my total has gone down too, I wonder if this is because it's estimated 🤷🏼‍♀️

Februarycat · 01/02/2020 18:51

@ifuckarses It was a week for me with Cloudworkers when I heard back after sending in all my paperwork but had to wait 2 weeks for the training

ButtWormHole · 01/02/2020 18:56

I’ve been reading up on matched betting and I think I’m ready to give it a try

Who is better to use ? Oddsmonkey or Profit Accumulator?

madasaboxofcats · 01/02/2020 19:02

@SpirallingThroughAnotherDay just seems weird that lines gone down by about £40 and keeps going up then back down. Strange....
