@Catatemyhomework We shouldn't have lost on the match that went into extra time. Apparently, both the bookie, and the exchange consider the game finished after 90 mins (+ injury time) and at that stage it was a draw, so we lost the money on the bookie site but made it on the exchange site (I checked my bet on the exchange and this is correct!)

However, I then made a stupid mistake on a bet last night where I somehow didn't lay my bet at the exchange so that was £15 down the swanny Today I made myself a checklist to fill out each time I make a bet!

@MoreMoneyPlease, thanks for that. I input the results into my spreadsheet (which probably isn't perfect quite honestly) and it definitely came up as a loss. I experienced my first unmatched bet today too which caused me to get the sweats and the shakes. Think I rectified it but I'm losing my confidence. Discovering that there is so much I still don't know. Can't imagine being ready to place ACCA reload offers for the Cheltenham Cup in March! Checklist sounds like a good plan. I forgot to factor in the commission percentage in the calculation once and spent ages trying to add it back onto the exchange bet. Luckily you can lay a 5p bet on Smarkets!

Lots of people LOVE Neevo however the work has dried up. How easy would it be for a tech savvy MNer to set up a similar site and maybe we work for ourselves instead of relying on sites like this?

I've thought about that a lot over the last year. I think the issue is not site creation itself, but companies being open to outsourcing micro tasks and projects at a good rate of frequency and pay. Creating a site along the lines of spare5, upwork, etc. is a doddle according to google.
