Has anyone else lost the Neevo speech segmentation task off their dashboard? I had just started getting into that and now it is gone. still shows active on my work history so wonder if I have been kicked off. I did get paid for some of the tasks yesterday though so perhaps its ended?

Catatemyhomework · 28/12/2019 14:08

@Alicia, I've done MBUX, is that the isoftstone one? It took me two hours to compose the sentences and do the recordings. I've sent them but not been paid yet. They did acknowledge receipt though and agreed to pay for 2 hours work. Smile Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!

Catatemyhomework · 28/12/2019 14:11

@anxiouswaiting, the speech segmentation tasks have gone off my dashboard too. Gutted as I had mastered a rhythm with those. I made about $300 with them too so gutted they've gone already.

AliciaWhiskers · 28/12/2019 16:50

@Catatemyhomework yes it's the Isoftstone one. Hoping they pay out! Good to know it takes about 2 hours, I'll make sure I set aside enough time. Does it all need to be done in one sitting?

Yes my neevo speech bits have gone too. I was just getting the hang of them!

Catatemyhomework · 28/12/2019 17:03

@AliciaWhiskers, I don't think you have to do it all in one sitting as you upload the recordings onto their software, but you can save them as you go on your computer and then upload them all onto their software. I did them all in one go, as the time consuming bit for me was thinking of the sentences! Grin The robot gets stuck on certain words and transcribes them wrong and I got round it by putting 'the' in front of the word. I think one of them was 'scene' and the robot.transcribed it as 'seem'. It's quite quick though once you get into it.

Illdoiteventually · 28/12/2019 17:05

Hi everyone. Decided to post, having read for a short time.
Prolific has been quite good for me. Although quite slow. Clickworker also at times aswell as isoftstone. Can't seem to pass any appen quizes, paha! Passed and been waiting on crisp for a bit.
Although I'm signed up to neevo for another a month, I never have any jobs on my dashboard - is this normal?
Thanks!Grin

Illdoiteventually · 28/12/2019 17:06

Around, not another!*

GachaBread · 28/12/2019 17:57

Hey people. I've been twiddling my thumbs since yesterday itching to get out and do some mystery shopping. Their are loads of Curry's jobs on BeMyEye. You need to find a Swann product display(pictures are provided to what they are looking for) , if you find it then you get £6 and if you do not then you get £4. They also got lots of jobs up Scotland sides in Coops. You have to look for Hogmanay party food range. Have a look ladies and see if you have any by you as these are all easy in and out jobs.

Tohaveandtohold · 28/12/2019 19:18

@anxiouswaiting, dh had that email as well to say he only has 2 weeks on the project. I’m quite disappointed as it was an easy £30 a day but hopefully something else will come up or crisp will accept me

BeeMyBaby · 29/12/2019 07:02

So this may be a fairly cryptic msg due to the nda I signed- back in July/August one of the testing websites was looking for English speakers for various regions in the U.K., I was accepted, did all the lead up etc but the project was much slower than other ones I'd done and I ended up going abroad for a few months. I told them I wanted to withdraw my application but they sent me the device to test anyway and then sent me something saying it would be collected but I've arrived home and found I still have it. For those of you doing the testing on this device, did your devices all get picked up already? Does anyone have an email address I can contact about getting them to collect it that they could DM me? I think it's worth about $150 and I don't want to get in trouble for not returning it (even though it's the companies fault).

seizethecuttlefish · 29/12/2019 22:45

Anyone else missing working on the Appen Malta projects? Wish there was something like it coming up. I keep checking SRT as if they will magically reappear lol

girlicorne · 30/12/2019 00:08

@seizethecuttlefish my Malta project queues have just emptied tonight I ve been working on them all week and I m hoping the queues get refilled tomorrow! But yes I will miss them if they are now over as I have enjoyed doing them!

seizethecuttlefish · 30/12/2019 08:03

@girlicorne mine have vanished. I wonder if I've been taken off them? I got well above average every week but probably wasn't doing enough hours. Oh well.

girlicorne · 30/12/2019 09:29

@seizethecuttlefish I think they were all winding down so they have probably finished, mine look done now as nothing new has been added. I never got the hours in due to hoarding which definitely is nt our fault! Hopefully something else interesting will come up soon!

toastytea · 30/12/2019 10:57

Just found the new thread. I haven't done Malta over christmas but think it's still going. Will check tonight if I have time. Not done as many hours this month! Hey ho!

theatrenerd31 · 30/12/2019 11:01

Does anyone have a referral link for Allen please? I'm sure there was one in the old thread but I can't find it on the app!

seizethecuttlefish · 30/12/2019 11:53

This is my Appen referral link: connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=b186330125d7add1d7c080e0ad7b497f
I think.

MrsWombat · 30/12/2019 11:54

My Appen SRT work has dried up. Elks has definitely finished as I got an email. Cotton is also finished according to the chat, but one of the moderators said that if it's still on your list there is a small possibility of it returning at some point. I've still got Truckee, and I'm doing the test for one of the Foresters ones which has been up a while so probably no work?! I think January is going to be a no-spend month!

SpirallingThroughAnotherDay · 30/12/2019 12:10

New crispers - anyone else guilty of overthinking everything? I've had some good feedback going forward but this is taking me longer to get the hang of than I thought Confused

ZetaPuppis · 30/12/2019 12:13

@SpirallingThroughAnotherDay me too! I’ve not done much either as have been really busy re Christmas and school holidays. I keep thinking they’re gonna kick me off as I’ve not done many and the first lot had a lot of wrong ones. Better more recently.
What kind of feedback did you get and after how long, if you don’t mind me asking.

DontCallMeDarling · 30/12/2019 12:19

I was lucky enough to get some new data on one of the tasks but that's ended now. I did the test for one of the long term projects, annoyingly despite studying and passing the exams, there isn't much work and I am worried I will be thrown off for not completing minimum productivity but what can you do?
Fingers crossed there will be new opportunities in 2020 and maybe Crisp will finally pick me!
Happy New Year!

lilmishap · 30/12/2019 12:31

Utest are currently looking for voice recordings (regional accents). Pays £7.65-£57.34 but if you have family/friends willing to take part it goes up to $75 for 5 utterances.
Closes in 11 hours

justtheonethen · 30/12/2019 12:35

@lilmishap I can only see the one that pays $10 per 60 utterances. You can claim for other people but I can't see one that pays £50. Am I being stupid. I would definitely do that.

DontCallMeDarling · 30/12/2019 12:40

@devonport12

did you get anywhere with supahands?

toastytea · 30/12/2019 13:21

Appen referral link for anyone interested:

connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=7ba3f2bcfe2c059bd58a1b3df0f06b8c

It really has been what I've made the most money on. Have been really lucky that I'm on a long term task and pick up extra tasks here and there. If you keep checking for new tasks and apply for all that you meet requirements for, you'll eventually get something!
