@toastytea cant really say per hour as its one off jobs really but i got paid $400 last month for 16 hours works of the voice stuff.

The project lead said they were still accepting people into the project. Will see if if it has to be referred specifically if its not in the project board anymore.

Still no pay from Appen!!

rhij86 · 14/11/2019 12:18

@bemystarlord yes see if you can find a link for the project if you can! I might just not be looking properly.

No pay here either

GailLondon · 14/11/2019 12:32

I got my Appen pay through late last night

SpinneyHill · 14/11/2019 12:39

Today
Applied for several on Respondent
Couple £s from Prolific
£4 from Qmee
£11 on Panelbase pending
Been sat here for 2 hours focusing on profiles and courses on the testing sites and nothing. I nearly got one on usertesting but then the First come first served message popped up.

I did manage to get accepted onto Crisp after a fuckton few attempts

Feels like I'm doing something wrong does anyone use a rota to stay organised and avoid wasting hours doing nothing like I have today?

SpinneyHill · 14/11/2019 12:48

On Appen I've just looked at the tasks I'm not qualified for and noticed they say qualify not work this.....will it let me try these? I'm worried about getting thrown off site if I cock up!

catlover564 · 14/11/2019 13:50

I have qualified on Appen for a task and I got an email saying I have but under 'I am qualified for' I've just got a green qualify button and nothing happens when I click it. How do I actually do the project?

seizethecuttlefish · 14/11/2019 13:53

@SpinneyHill just try them. You can't really mess up if they're there. It'll probably be quizzes etc to qualify.

@catlover564 if it's an ad one then you need to get an email to sort access. Might take a couple of days.

catlover564 · 14/11/2019 13:55

@seizethecuttlefish thank you, I'm not sure what it is! First time I've used Appen. It just says its a behaviour study and email says to see the project home page, I'm baffled.

catlover564 · 14/11/2019 13:58

Agh I think it's done it now! Think I was just impatient Grin lol

anxiouswaiting · 14/11/2019 14:39

@Bemystarlord the voice one, are you doing it from home? I applied for one that said voice testing and it says about going in to their office

CatHopeful · 14/11/2019 16:05

Annoyingly I've just realised that Payoneer will only transfer sums above $50 (this was my payment for Bane).

rhij86 · 14/11/2019 16:08

@cathopeful they transferred me $5 last month

CatHopeful · 14/11/2019 16:17

@rhij86 I've got almost $30 in there and they won't let me have it!

rhij86 · 14/11/2019 16:31

@cathopeful oh what?! That's bizzare!

TheLolaMontez · 14/11/2019 16:42

It's the same for me @CatHopeful I can't link PayPal to it either Confused

seizethecuttlefish · 14/11/2019 16:44

@CatHopeful I was the same. Minimum 50 to withdraw. They've had my money for months! It's such a rip off.

girlicorne · 14/11/2019 17:35

Those of you who can’t withdraw from Payoneer get the Payoneer card, they will transfer whatever you have earned onto there even if it’s under $50 I had the same issue a couple of months ago. It takes about a week to come but they will pay your earnings into it every month and you can then either use it as a debit card, withdraw from cash machine or transfer it to your bank account.

Frenchdoors1 · 14/11/2019 17:40

Thats good the payoneer card.

I would contact appen and inform them because appen emailed me a few weeks ago and included the instructions for me to link PayPal to payoneer, I did that then shortly after I received an email from payoneer to say that my account had successfully gone through.

Fizbo · 14/11/2019 17:54

Peppermint has work if anyone's on that project Smile

toastytea · 14/11/2019 19:27

I've just looked at error clarification on one of the appen tasks and realised I've been inferring a lot of details when I shouldn't have been. Basically, I've definitely not been doing what they have requested!! Now wondering if I'm going to be thrown off when it's reviewed. Oops!!

Buster27 · 14/11/2019 22:08

@toastytea I am a bit worried for the work to be reviewed, as I'm not sure at all what my accuracy level would be!

Done another 3 hours on one of my projects, still feel like I don't know what I'm doing Confused

toastytea · 14/11/2019 22:22

@Buster27 same. I really don't think it's that clear.

Time will tell! My invoice still doesn't tally with user metrics!

rhij86 · 15/11/2019 05:31

@toastytea @buster27 I've been working on uolo 3 or 4 weeks and still no work reviewed!

Still no payment from appen :(

SNISR · 15/11/2019 05:44

Any tips on passing project elkhorn?

rhij86 · 15/11/2019 05:48

@snisr I failed it :-/
Just the usual about reading guidelines etc. Good luck!
