Well that's it the countdown is on for Christmas (as far as I'm concerned anyway!)
Going to aim for more than £10 a day (I was around it for latter half of last month)

@rhij86 sorry you didnt get through, their tests are buggers! Thanks for the tips, going to have a look after school run. Not sure about working else where but i think i remember Otteres saying she did some on the way to work.

@rhij86 yes you can, I've done it and no problems.
I think as long as you are in the same country you're fine.

Peppermint is going again on Appen for those who are on it. I would hurry though as the tasks go quick 😬

I did the imbler assessment last night and passed but I m not getting too excited as I also passed Iolo (?) the other week then was told it was full after getting excited about the extra money!! I have been invited to do Stanford and elk horn assessments which I will do tonight! Good luck to everyone trying to get on one of them, I know an extra 20 hours a week will be an absolute game changer for me 😀

I'm working Uolo, but had the same happen to me with Inari-UC - did the test, passed, told I would be added to the raters tool then when I chased was told they were full!

Just passed my first Appen qualification for Imbler!!!! So excited. For those of you experienced in this though does the email saying I've been accepted onto the project and to await the email telling me how to log into SRT actually guarantees me the hours? Been rejected too many times on appen to feel confident!

Was very excited to receive an Appen email re: sign language this morning. Finally i can put my niche knowledge to use (i hope!).

Oh dear. So I got accepted onto UserTesting and was about to begin a test but was told to download an extension for Chrome (thought I’d already done this for the sample test??). A box come up saying this extension can ‘read and change your data on websites you visit’. Well that sounds scary! Wtf? So I’ve chickened out. Can anyone advise?

@ScoutFinchsHam I've done loads on usertesting and nothing has happened to my web pages. Think its ok.

@NCforsafety unfortunately not, it doesn't guarantee any work as a load of us found out last month there were a lot of people accepted onto the Inari UC task (me included) and was told to wait for the email giving me access to the rating tool - nothing came - when I asked them they told me they were full and I was on a waiting list. Think it was the same for everyone here who was accepted.

Loads of extensions need that, especially testing ones as they need to interact with the pages, it's fine but if you are unsure you could disable it when not using it.

Thanks both! I downloaded it and started to take the test but fucked it up being a technical ditz! I don’t think this is for me! Now attempting to plough through the massive guidelines for Appen Imbler...blimey! Hope everyone gets on ok today.

@ChubRubTub I think we have to invoice them after receiving statements (by the 10th working day of the month IIRC), but I only started last month so this will be my first payment too. I'm sure the experienced crispers can keep us right :)

I've passed one of the 20-hour Appen projects. I'm not saying which one yet because I'm just reading through a scary looking NDA but fingers crossed it goes ok.

My main tips are read the PDF and then when going through the questions use the search facility on the PDF browser to look at all the places the key words in the question are. It took me an hour or so to do the 30 questions. Good luck!

@MrsWombat I did do the search thing, I think I did ok until I got to the last few, and I forgot about prioritising product over service over content.

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Me too!! Have you had any further info on the scope of the sign language task? I do a fair bit of Makaton...not sure if that would count or not
