Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

@CatHopeful Prolific has been ok, Clickworker better , all their surges for work seem to be weekend Saturday nights about 2am so that suits me Grin

3dogsnorth · 17/07/2019 15:49

Is anyone on fletcher on Appen? How many different ways can you say "call granny"? Do they want a different response every single time?

MrsWombat · 17/07/2019 16:15

I thought Fletcher finished on the 15th July? I got accepted on Friday 12th, read the instructions and thought I would never get through it all over the weekend so sent them an email pulling out. Now I can't find the info for that. Have they extended it?

whatthewhatthewhat · 17/07/2019 17:21

@CatHopeful probably still wayyyyyy ahead of me 🤣🤣🤣

ZetaPuppis · 17/07/2019 18:12

Can I ask a question please for anyone who’s done an Appen recording task. If you’re asked to record a way to say ‘remind you to do something at a certain place’ do you just make up a scenario or do you say what they’ve asked?
Eg would you say ‘remind me to do something when I get to place’
Or just make up something like ‘remind me to buy milk when I get to shop’

Bemystarlord · 17/07/2019 18:55

@ZetaPuppis you just make up a scenario :)

Bemystarlord · 17/07/2019 18:56

@3dogsnorth yes different response every time. Its soul destroying isn’t it :(

ZetaPuppis · 17/07/2019 18:59

@Bemystarlord Thanks Smile

toastytea · 17/07/2019 19:42

Thanks for all info so far! I've signed up to crisp, appen and clickworker. I'm confused though.. Are there two appens? I can only find one..

bkaz · 17/07/2019 19:57

@MrsWombat@ Thanks, you are right I got an email for a project with my kid. So will crack on with it, such a relief.Smile

OS22 · 17/07/2019 20:08

Hi has anyone had any issues with appen 202, i have the app but when I put the pin in it just keeps saying incorrect 🤷🏼‍♀️

seizethecuttlefish · 17/07/2019 20:17

@bkaz have you managed to complete the survey for the project? I keep hitting save and nothing happens. Can't see what I've missed.

bkaz · 17/07/2019 20:21

@seizethecuttlefish, no I have not started as my dd claims she is tired. Is it a straightforward project?

Mamaslave18 · 17/07/2019 20:30

I did Fletcher last month and I’ve still not been paid.

FloofenHoofen · 17/07/2019 21:00

mamaslave18 it might be worth emailing them however they have had massive issues with invoices last month and this month. None of my autogenerated invoices went on till the other day for this month and many other people are still affected. Emailing them will be helpful as they'll know your account may be affected as well.

whatthewhatthewhat · 17/07/2019 21:09

Anyone else only able to concentrate on Crisp for ten minutes at a time?

Lol, I'm getting quicker but need very frequent breaks!

anxiouswaiting · 17/07/2019 21:55

Can any of the more experienced Crispers recommend which wiki pages are best ti keep open? there is so much!!

seizethecuttlefish · 17/07/2019 22:00

@bkaz I've had to raise a ticket as it won't let me complete the demographic survey. I've only just started and am at the frustrating, waiting stage.

ZetaPuppis · 17/07/2019 22:02

Seize are you doing it on your phone? Mine wouldn’t save on my phone. I switched to laptop and it worked then.

Buster27 · 17/07/2019 22:16

@DB761 - I started 509 around the same time, I don't see a log of recordings completed anywhere but I assume it will auto-generate an invoice once quality checks are complete (I've had this on the other Appen site, though it did take a few weeks). I think the project guidelines said payment will be within 2 weeks of quality checks being complete, but who knows how long that will take!

My month is looking up, hit a nice win on a casino offer so my matched betting profit for the month is sitting at £500. Plugging away at Prolific/Appen Global/Rev, nothing much but guess it all adds up.

Rainiswet · 17/07/2019 22:16

Ohh what is all this then? I would love to learn more

ShinyButtons · 17/07/2019 22:25

@whatthewhatthewhat I'm only managing that on mod2 there's just so much to think about.
I much prefer monitoring at the moment it seems far more simple, although I'm still ridiculously slow.
I sneezed and accidentally clicked submit earlier while i was still dithering over the right answer. Currently panicking that I had the wrong option selected at the time.

whatthewhatthewhat · 17/07/2019 22:31

@ShinyButtons ooops! Yeah, lots of info, hopefully we will speed up!

m00rfarm · 18/07/2019 01:37

I am Crisping in both Mod and Mon at the moment - I did have a message about an incorrect decision (I went for a PR issue which they said it probably wasn't) but that is the only one so far. I am hating the Lego ones though.

m00rfarm · 18/07/2019 01:38

Oh - I have Cloudworker training tomorrow - is it pretty straightforward as I actually have to leave on an appointment exactly 1.5 hours after the training starts ... they say it should be between 1 and 1.5 hours.
