I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet

@BlackCatFan I wish! I've only managed £25 on Crisp, the content is so low whenever I am able to login. It is mainly Appen plus a few bits I have sold on facebook and the odd survey here and there.

@anxiouswaiting Oh ok, i think I probably made a similar amount on Crisp this month, due to not having much time and it being very slow when I do log in. Well done though; that's a fab amount

I think that's fantastic @whatthewhatthewhat though I'm sure MM will get ripped to shreds for her involvement. You're right, it's another issue to tackle.

All that's putting me off the whole thing, is are we providing a positive solution to the problem, or just forcing women again, into roles they might not want to do, out of necessity and convenience? If successful, would I then be contributing to further social isolation, etc.

I think my answer to the latter, is establishing 'work from home' groups, a community, and maybe a small 'getting started' grant to cover the cost of attending a local course/group until their first pay day...

Maybe I'm overthinking. But I'm worried about making an issue worse rather than better I'm going home for dinner and more thinking time.

Is there a trick to being accepted by Appen (international)?

@Otterses yeah, it is isolating working from home, but often necessary. And yes, it is a great idea.

Companies, (not naming names! Ahem! Crisp Appen) should have chat forums or WhatsApp's group for people to chat, that might help...

Between crisp and cloud workers I've made £140 this month it's not the £400 I was aiming for but it's 140 more than I had.

Only got onto crisp in the middle of the month and gave up on cloud workers as soon as I thought I'd have sent enough messages to get to the minimum payment. So hopefully next month will be better.

I will invoice Appen for $258, so just over £200. I have earned about £15 with Prolific. I seem to have done loads of Intellizoom surveys but no sign of payment.

I have a day job which is quite well paid but need extra income for my stepfathers care home fees, which is crippling us.

I spent a couple of years when my kids were young, doing market research telephone surveys which I hated. As soon as DH was back in the evening I was out of the door and I worked weekends as well. I wish all this had been around 20 years ago.

Invoicing on Appen Query this is my first invoice and having problem creating the invoice.

I am having problem with the section select type project it is in red. It will not let me submit.

It's too early in the US to submit yet remember it operates on their time, I think I usually submit around 9am.

@bkaz what are you invoicing for? If Fletcher the entry will be automatic.

I have just submitted mine, it’s after 12am on the west coast.

Only started mid month. Fletcher still hasn't appeared on my Appen. Only finished it on Saturday, so assuming it'll take a while?

Nothing from Crisp or ModSquad. Only being paid for Noyo. Hopefully I've done enough preparatory stuff to get more next month. Total £5.35 for Appen and Clickworkers.

Can anyone help me with Receipt Hog.

It thinks I am in the US, and so I cannot complete the initial survey.

I've installed the app on my iPhone. I've allowed it to know my location. When I first set it up it showed logos of UK shops.

But now it shows US brands and when I try to complete the initial survey it wants me to submit a US State and zip code.

The only place I can see to change any location info is in settings, I can set up my phone number as a UK number, but when I try to do this it says I must submit the initial survey first.

I haven't been able to find any info about this.
