Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

Quick appen question. Need to do my qualifying project but it's asking for my Apple ID. My Apple ID is my personal email. Not really comfortable putting it in. Am I overthinking?

Otterses · 16/07/2019 16:44

Nope! @seizethecuttlefish , you're over thinking Grin they need it to ensure you will be able to access relevant tools for the project.

Plus, they have an email address for you already Grin and they know where you live!

@Otterses thanks

Otterses · 16/07/2019 17:13

I know we have a few expecting ladies on here Smile so can I remind everyone to look at marriage tax allowance to see if you'll qualify? Same applies if you've ever been married and earned less than your tax free allowance in a year.

@MrsWombat @ and other expperts, just applied to Appen Global but I cannot see any jobs This is the message I got:

Welcome to Appen Global!
It looks like you are not currently assigned to any projects. In order to assist us with finding work for you please fill out your account profile with as much information as possible. You can get to your account profile page by clicking your name in the top right-hand corner and clicking 'Account'. (I updated this and upload my CV, yet nothing)

Once we find work for you we will contact you via the email address we have on file. You can also log back here for any updates.

I cannot see any jobs at all. Can you please give me some tips.

seizethecuttlefish · 16/07/2019 19:50

Last question of the day for me. When I complete the crisp test I don't get a score, just a message saying I'm added to the waiting list. I was looking for a score.

Otterses · 16/07/2019 20:06

@bkaz screenshot what your page looks like? (Scribble out anything identifying!)

@seizethecuttlefish it's in teeny tiny font on the email about halfway down Grin

OP posts:
seizethecuttlefish · 16/07/2019 20:21

Damn it's gone to the main page. Suppose I need to do it again 🤦🏻‍♀️

seizethecuttlefish · 16/07/2019 20:24

Sorry posted too soon or is being on the waiting list screen a good thing?

ShinyButtons · 16/07/2019 20:32

@seizethecuttlefish check the email they sent, it will tell you there what score you got.

seizethecuttlefish · 16/07/2019 20:52

18....hmmm

CatHopeful · 16/07/2019 20:57

First day of live data on Crisp complete. No idea on earnings as still no Klipfolio, but was going soooo slowly feel like I must have averaged about ten items per hour Grin I sent a bunch of items for classification guidance - they got back to me really quickly. I also had to message the shift manager on duty a few times too, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. I haven't been contacted to say I did anything wrong. So far... Feeling confident about putting in another couple of hours tomorrow.

whatthewhatthewhat · 16/07/2019 21:04

@CatHopeful well done! I'm about to go in... what would you recommend? Mod or mon?

bkaz · 16/07/2019 21:08

@Otterseas, this is the screenshot from appen global

6 months in and still going strong! It's the July earn £10 a day thread!
bkaz · 16/07/2019 21:11

@Otterseas thanks again for this thread, its a whole new world. Just finish the ghastly voice recordingsSmile. Fingers crossed will get some other interesting projects.

CatHopeful · 17/07/2019 10:05

whatthewhatthewhat I pretty much exclusively did Mod2 yesterday.

DB761 · 17/07/2019 10:12

Hi everyone, another newbie question. I started my first Appen Global project (509) 8 days ago. I can't see anything that logs the recordings I have done, is this the usual procedure? I have kept a note but I'm just wondering how its logged for payment and when they pay for work completed? Any info would be great and thanks again for this thread, I can't wait to receive my first payment. Fingers crossed I'll hear from Crisp soon too.

ShinyButtons · 17/07/2019 10:14

I'm still finding mod2 quite scary. I keep going on it for 10 minutes and then going in the monitoring queue instead. I might re read all the training at weekend then force myself to stay in mod2 for a while.
Getting impatient to get klipfolio so I can see how much I'm up to.

MrsGaryLightbody · 17/07/2019 12:05

Morning everyone, @Otterses hope little one is bit better Smile
I'm on Streetbees, all going well except I've stacked up about £8 and not had payment. Last month got paid twice for £5 . I've emailed them but no reply. Anyone else having issues.

Other stuff.. pumpkins actually growing yay .
Clickworker doing well, average 45 a week.
Vypr is slow but dead easy money , about 5 every ten days.
Prolific good too , about £1.50 a day.

Need something else that's simple lol might try MrQ , I won £20 on heart bingo then withdrew fast . Me thinks beginners luck.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

BlackCatFan · 17/07/2019 13:33

I just finished my first session on the Crisp live data.. was quite scary and I'm pretty sure I made a mistake or two! I'm fretting about getting fired already.. Confused

whatthewhatthewhat · 17/07/2019 14:14

Would be good to have dashboard to see how much money I am not making (because I'm so slooooowwwww) 🤣

MrsWombat · 17/07/2019 14:16

@bkaz Wait a few days and you might get an invite for a project by email. I did, and failed the test. Make sure you are signed up to the other Appen linked to further back in this thread too.

CatHopeful · 17/07/2019 14:35

MrsGaryLightbody I hadn't heard of Vypr before, have installed it and seems incredibly easy. Is it £5 per 10,000 points?

Prolific was good for me last month - I got around £30 in total. This month so far I'm only at just under £9. I've missed out on that much again though as by the time I click through, the spaces have been filled.

BlackCatFan well done. I found it nerve wracking too. I did a bit today again. It helped me yesterday sending off the IDs of the 'types' of things I wasn't sure of - so that I could carry that feedback forward. Anything I literally didn't have a clue on, I hit unsure, but I don't think there were too many of those. I also had to message the shift manager a couple of times too, and seeing how friendly she was in reply, really put me at ease. I could really do with getting the Klipfolio log in now though!

CatHopeful · 17/07/2019 14:36

whatthewhatthewhat I'm slow too - probably on track for £2 an hour at this rate!

MrsGaryLightbody · 17/07/2019 15:34

@CatHopeful yes it's so simple .. I keep waiting for the catch. Once you get to 10000 points which I thought would take up is but actually can do in 3 days, they automatically send you £5 via PayPal.
Easy to use app too.
Wish there were more like that. Smile
