I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

In case anyone is still on OMD, be really wary about the Taste Card offer Angry I cancelled, but they took £34.99 out of my account anyway a month after. Complaining now, I only just spotted it when I realised my bank account looked sad.

Very odd £6.20 tried to be taken from my PayPal balance too today Confused so be careful out there with these offers, even if you have cancelled correctly.

Hi all, sorry if I've missed any Cloudworkers questions on the thread, i cant keep up with it sometimes, but have responded to PMs.

They are massively busy at the moment so would be a good time to join if anyone is on the fence. I get about 5 emails a day begging me to log on and answer messages! The platform is more speedy when the message queues are big too, so it's more earning capacity. Don't get too excited its still only €0.10 per message. I'm hoping they do some surge pricing type thing in the future!

reddA · 06/06/2019 13:46

@Bbub I wouldn't mind doing it but they only offered 12am - 8am which I couldn't do :(

reddA · 06/06/2019 13:49

@Otterses I have one piece of land and a windmill but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it - I had visions of putting my little Axies on the land and making it pretty but I don't think they've got to that stage yet - it is really weird and confusing so I'm just doing the battles to build up EXP, losing more than I win though Hmm

Otterses · 06/06/2019 13:54

@reddA

Hmm that is what the video ad kind of implies isn't it? That our little babies will be frolicking round meadows and windmills!

@WheelyCote I'm on my 4th day of it and so far so good. It's really easy, so much so that I am kind of waiting for an e-mail telling me I am doing it all wrong! Also it isn't taking me the full hour which means I am not making as much as I would like as you have to invoice exactly what you work.

Overall a good project to be on though. Hoping one of my other Appen applications get approved soon or Crisp as I could really do with more work

MrsWombat · 06/06/2019 14:20

I have an Appen - Truckie invoice question. I did it for the first time on 31st May and did an invoice only for that day. It was 18 items so for my time I put in 54 mins. 3 (mins) x 18 how I worked it out, and I have double checked my screenshot. They have returned it saying reported hours has exceeded tracked hours. I've put a message saying I've doubled checked the screenshot and it's 18 items. Have i calculated it correctly?

anxiouswaiting · 06/06/2019 15:36

Those of you who have done the Gala Bingo sign up via Quidco, do I literally just deposit my £10 and play it on any bingo games and then I will get the £40? I have just signed up.

It also says I will get £30 bingo credit when I play through my £10 deposit, fingers crossed I win something, that would be fab!

anxiouswaiting · 06/06/2019 15:47

@MrsWombat Did it actually take you 54 mins? On Inari-C there are 20 items and I can have upto 3 min per item BUT if I get through them quicker (which I have done every day so far) I am only allowed to add on my invoice the time I actually spent on it and not the full 60 mins.

Does make me wonder why we are manually doing invoices if they are tracking our time anyway

Otterses · 06/06/2019 16:01

@MrsWombat is Truckee meant to be 2 minutes per ad now? So you should do 30. I may be wrong, I thought it changed the same time as Nile did though. Nile and Truckee aren't tracked (if they are I get away with actual murder!) so you should invoice per ad, though there's no reason you shouldn't be able to invoice a full batch at one hour.

Either way, flag up with support that you aren't getting full batches, or you'll start getting arsey emails about how you aren't doing it Grin

I feel like a right idiot 😂 message popped up on Crisp for people in Mod2 just as I was logging off. I bet I look like I'm running away now also incredibly nosey as to what it was for.

OP posts:
MrsWombat · 06/06/2019 16:32

The FAQ definitely says 3 mins. There is another project called Truckee Opps that's 2 mins. I'm sure I took a lot longer than that as it was my first ever attempt, but I must admit I didn't track the time properly.

This is what they said about the small batches: Please take note that the acceptable number of ads in a batch is from 15 to 25. You can try to restart your app and return to the ad ratings to see if you can reset the batch and receive a full one. If not, you can complete the batch even if it is not 20 stories. You can invoice for up to 3 minutes per ad you are able to complete. Please do not work on two batches in one day.

Otterses · 06/06/2019 16:45

Confused no idea then I'm afraid! Have they gotten back to you at all yet?

Not doing great today to be honest, quite distracted in terms of earning and findinf it hard to focus. Shitty adventure to a toddler group this morning, and more delays on the work front plus period have just left me feeling tearful and un motivated.

Going to grab some decent coffee and work late with crisp tonight, as it looks like it'll be my income for a while yet!

OP posts:
reddA · 06/06/2019 17:56

My dashboard has updated - all is right with the world Grin Crisp is painfully slow, it's been bad since it for a couple of days now, it doesn't seem to be lack of content though just very stop/start.

I'll join you in the hormonal club @Otterses (was going to change that to moan in the middle as I'm being a moany bitch but once typed out hormoanal does not look at all right!!! ) Blush Shock

Otterses · 06/06/2019 18:10

Ohhhh what're you on now @reddA?

Must be something in the air Grin everyone seems a bit weepy today!

OP posts:
reddA · 06/06/2019 18:54

Currently at £270 plus £27 today (basically last months entire total as i was a lazy bitch) Hope I can keep the momentum up - I'm still veering towards Mod2 as I find monitoring a bit scary so I need to get over that and probably do a bit of retraining on the PR side of things when I get time. Does anyone else dread opening Slack in the morning in case there's a message with a mistake? I've only had a couple but I still breathe a sigh of relief when there are no messages Blush

Otterses · 06/06/2019 19:49

@reddA Shock as always I'm speechless! How many hours do you think your putting in?

And yes Grin I live in fear of a direct message. Which is daft. Monitoring baffles me when it comes to stock/shares value increases which always seem to come up Confused

Naice coffee purchased, and ready for a decent crisp session! Need to catch up after yesterday.

DS however just made me burst into tears Blush he actually said ' Daddy's Car', first thing the boy has ever said. He's chuffed to bits with himself (as are we). Shall pull myself together and get to it!

Hi I've been lurking for a while, trying to make extra money to pay off my debt quicker.

Passed the first crisp test about 2 weeks ago and now impatiently waiting for them to contact me.

On the cloudworker application form, it asks for your Skype name, do they Skype you? I really hate video calls and not keen on normal phone calls either Blush

Trying to get back into matched betting too. I completed all the easy sign up offers the first time round and all the ones left seem to be for bigger amounts. Think I need to learn how to do other offers, I'm just not sure what offers to go for, so im doing my usual tactic of time wasting and faffing about reading different offers but not actually doing any.

Otterses · 06/06/2019 20:00

@ShinyButtons I think the Skype training is just audio! Bit @Bbub can confirm Smile

OP posts:
Otterses · 06/06/2019 20:02

@ShinyButtons have you tried low risk casino as a way back in to build up your bank roll to do the bigger offers?

Often you can make profit on your deposit, like the deposit £10, get £30 bonus, get £50 cash back offer with Gala Bingo on Quidco. Then anything you win is even more profit on top.

GoodPlaceJanet · 06/06/2019 20:39

Completed the Noyo project this eve. Desperately waiting on another Appen project.

Also desperately waiting on Crisp still.

Really worried I'm going to be waiting and nothing will come of it. I've run out of other ways to make extra money regularly.

reddA · 06/06/2019 21:09

@Otterses I'm grazing really, just having it on all day hopping on and off just ending sessions when I want to go and make a brew or lunch etc. I don't tend to do much in the evening though as my brain stops functioning Grin It helps to just go an and work until the hour so I may hop on at 11.35 and work until 12 then go and put the washing on and grab a brew then back on at 12.20 and work until 1 - lots of breaks really helps as I tend to lose focus after a while.

Bless your DS 'Daddy's car' so cute :) They'll be no stopping him now - especially when he realises the reaction he gets :)

Bbub · 06/06/2019 22:43

@ShinyButtons
Its not video or audio they just connected to me on skype and sent me a load of messages on there. No talking at all. It was a bit weird just like loads of texts.

@reddA
Oh that really is crap, who's going to want those hours. Was that recently? As like i say its been very recently now so they may want people for the day time as well. I get begging emails from 9am onwards!

ShinyButtons · 07/06/2019 00:27

Thanks Bbub, I'll sign up later now I know I won't have to try and hide my flabby chin on a video call.

I'm registered with profit accumulator for match betting, but I've been looking at odds monkey tonight as well and they seem to have some different sign up offers so I've done one of those.

Thank you

WheelyCote · 07/06/2019 06:59
