Lies, creative accounting and the Law of Reaction. Network marketers, we’re onto you - and so is the BBC:

Vintage or slow-matured - maybe that's how the bots can market the surplus gloop stored in their garages, especially the stuff in the old-style bottles.

Jigsawpuzzle · 23/05/2019 19:48

Do the products have a use by date?

BSintolerant · 23/05/2019 19:49

Given their name you’d think they’d last forever. Wink

Looks like the socks company’s interview process works! People self-selecting out.

gotmychocolateimgood · 23/05/2019 20:15

Meh. Everyone drinks prosecco. It's about £6 a bottle, hardly expensive! I prefer cava anyway.

ElectricOrgan · 23/05/2019 20:25

I'm with you on that. Cava is a much nicer, more nuanced drink. Not fruity, sweet and cloying, grape piss.

But prosecco is still considered fancy, especially in those of a socioeconomic level the majority of bots try and target. Aspirational but not too much.

Jigsawpuzzle · 23/05/2019 20:42

Do bots palm off unsold products to relatives for birthdays, Mother’s Day Xmas etc?
I would imagine food banks refusing aloe gunk.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/05/2019 20:53

My extended family had a special look of fake delight they reserved for unpacking various FLP 'treats' at Xmas, while I died a little more inside...

gotmychocolateimgood · 23/05/2019 20:56

Twenty my FL friend tried to convince me to spend £98 on a pathetic looking skincare hamper for my mum's birthday, to boost her CCs. I gave her £100 of John Lewis vouchers instead which was a much better choice!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/05/2019 20:59

Although, to be fair, these were bought specially, rather than unsold stock.

That's the clever thing about the whole 4CCs of products to remain active. My OH would see buying the stuff to give away as presents as contributing to her CCs for the month. There would be no 'benefit' to her giving away stock purchased to make up CCs in previous months (except not throwing good money after bad...).

Whiterangey · 24/05/2019 01:24

Do they really drink the aloe gloop? It makes me feel unwell just looking at it.

CodenameVillanelle · 24/05/2019 06:30

I'm trying to picture my DS being given a glass of gel to drink. It just wouldn't happen.

Jigsawpuzzle · 24/05/2019 09:07

Nurse & receipt bots peddling same journalistic puff piece.

EL2019 · 24/05/2019 09:27

How much is 4CCs?

Does each bot have to sell that much, or do your downlines contribute to that?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/05/2019 10:04

M'y understanding is that you have to do 4CCs personally (through 'sales' and/or recruitment) in order to qualify for your cut of your downlines' work.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/05/2019 10:10

@Whiterangey - I tried it when a bottle was first brought into the house (about a teaspoon's worth). I can confirm it is every bit as foul as it looks.

The kids were given a daily dose of the peach flavoured stuff. They consumed it dutifully and I guess built up a tolerance over the years, but when I told them it was no longer compulsory, they did not volunteer to continue having it...

Mielabel · 24/05/2019 10:55

I can't remember how much 4CC is in pounds, but you need to spend it personally. I think it's around £120. If you don't you won't get a share of your downline's profits which is what the business is about. And you'll be shamed and told you're not taking it seriously. I think Lanza has a good few videos on this somewhere, she very much pushed the 4CC a month. Apparently it's easy if you just swop your other brands to FLP for your own use.

Sunshineandshowers81 · 24/05/2019 13:09

I've always been surprised that beach body didn't seem to make it big here at all. There are some very rich and fairly famous bots at the top of the pyramid in America. I actually really love their workout DVDs so was very disappointed when I realised it was a MLM

Jigsawpuzzle · 24/05/2019 13:24

Hurry get your orders in to Nurse.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/05/2019 13:49

Not just a job Jigsaw- any job!

I also see she's offering a £500 discount to anyone who wants the pleasure of a one-to-one session of listening to her talk about herself while flicking her hair. Bargain- sign me up Hun!

TheHorseOnSeventhAvenue · 24/05/2019 14:00

PHD - please try to keep up with your own lies.

Within 4 months you were earning more in FL than you ever had in a job. At about 6 months you were crying in the corridor because the biz wasn’t working.

Now, you gave up your career for network marketing.

A. What was your career?

B. How much were you earning it said career?

C. If you were earning multiple six figures with FL and coaching, why did you not put it through your limited company or pay tax on it?

E. Are your pants on fire?

TheHorseOnSeventhAvenue · 24/05/2019 14:01

Apologies for missing D 😁

Jigsawpuzzle · 24/05/2019 14:04

Gulp hope it’s not the Trafford Centre. Someone mentioned Salford Quays, I worked a temp Job in the area.

acatcalledjohn · 24/05/2019 16:14

@fromdownwest who do you mean by spoiled brat? Which company is she with?

acatcalledjohn · 24/05/2019 16:22

Whilst FLP is collapsing in on itself, Sleaze is heading towards a a mental breakdown/permanent state of delusion. Apparently if you did vote yesterday you are uneducated. Supported by this blinder...

The uneducated calling the educated uneducated.
