Lies, creative accounting and the Law of Reaction. Network marketers, we’re onto you - and so is the BBC:

Yes the star rating whilst useful is a bit of an invention. And for those with very sensitive skin it may be necessary to deliberately go for a lower star rating or risk irritating your skin. There are a small number of suncreams (available in supermarkets) that don't put stars on their bottles - can't remember which brands though!

Lularoe are the subject of a 30 minute documentary talking to former distributors.

God PHD Bot (sockbot?) is really full of it isn't she? Too good to work in retail and prove why she wanted that job while studying. She's never worked a proper day in her life, has she?

JasperRising · 23/05/2019 10:33

leasedaudi and how many people can really be successful with a 'personal brand business'? Seems to me success is mainly for those who a) have identified a genuine niche b) those who are already celebrities or c) those who already have the money or family money to allow them make a go of it. Not your average person who fancies working on Instagram rather than work at M&S.

I always have an urge with lanzabot and PHD to sign up for their business coaching to find out if they would actually coach a non MLM business nor if it is a front for recruiting. And if they do coach non MLMs is it all still lifestyle and attraction marketing..

suedoname · 23/05/2019 11:03

@JasperRising it's all a front for recruitment. I've managed to infiltrate a Welsh coaches free group.

It's very recruitment heavy. His most recent live was about creating urgency for people sat on the fence. Which is straight out the book of all American gurus coaching.

Apparently you need to make out you have a pile of people waiting to get started and you can't be hanging around for them so they'll come back to you in a couple of months when you're less busy and see if they're ready then. This creates FOMO apparently.

It'll also create the feeling of wtf when you sign on the line and find out there wasn't a pile of people.

It was easy to get in as well. I downloaded his freebie, joined the group from there and pretended I was a bot to answer some questions to be allowed access.

He's getting paid to show people how to lie and thinks nothing of it.

fromdownwest · 23/05/2019 11:46

The entitled brat strikes again. How dare a company try to interview her, the multiple six figure, global business coach. She should have just walked straight in and be given the job!

The irony is it shows her for what she really is, lazy, entitled and can’t stick at anything that actually involves work.

I would much rather a business mentor who has been through a vigorous recruitment drive, who’s out the hours in at genuinely successful actual global companies.

Not some adult child, who has played at shop, failed, jumped ship and is now trying to look successful.

Out of all of them, this one really grips my sh**! Smile

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/05/2019 12:19

Same @fromdownwest. She oozes privilege, entitlement and smugness. She is easily the most shallow, vacuous and self-obsessed of the bunch, and that's saying a lot.

I should have all these things, simply because I'm worth it.

MontanaSkies · 23/05/2019 12:45

Thing is, she has a point about the cringeiness of big corporates making you "show your passion", but is network marketing really the answer?

Having to fake a huge passion for overpriced essential oils, whooping up a storm at MLM conferences and rallies... And then being lucky to earn the equivalent of minimum wage.

No thanks, I'd much rather enthuse about socks at a department store and actually get paid a wage!

Jigsawpuzzle · 23/05/2019 12:51

PHD-I can only find a CB cheque 2016 of £25k+. So is it BOMAD/ boyfriend ( friends with benefits) funding her lifestyle. Too many boring photos to find any more.
I find it amusing that they try to promote healthy living whilst showing copious photos of them drinking alcohol 🍷.
Even Castles hobgate was Pizza/Prosecco (cheapskate)

gotmychocolateimgood · 23/05/2019 12:54

Plus aloe shots laced with tobasco 😂

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/05/2019 13:19

Can anyone explain why, to bots, drinking (or merely mentioning) Prosecco is a signifier of ultimate glamour?

I know significant improvements were made in the overall quality of Italian and Spanish fizz, but they are still, to a large extent, the alternative for those who can't afford Champagne.

I'm no snob (couldn't afford to be, anyway) and sparking wine isn't my thing, but while I'll happily drink Lidl St Emilion, I won't behave as though it's a '70 Chateau Margaux...

Pinkyponkcustard · 23/05/2019 13:47

@fromdownwest which bot is the one with the company wanting to interview her? Surely not a bot thinking about joining the 9-5!

Mielabel · 23/05/2019 14:12

Any tips for finding PHD bot? I know all the others!

fromdownwest · 23/05/2019 14:15

It is from her post, about when she was younger and had the crazy thought of applying for a JOB. She is far too good for that these days of course!

MLMsuperfan · 23/05/2019 14:23

Can I just say how much I hate the phrase "multiple six figures".

MontanaSkies · 23/05/2019 14:44

@Mielabel, I think I found her by just googling FL and PhD!

Mielabel · 23/05/2019 15:06

Thanks, that was easy! I think I have the set :)

Whiterangey · 23/05/2019 15:15

Weird, her accounts don't look like someone who is earning multiple six figures, or even 6 figures.

Jigsawpuzzle · 23/05/2019 15:57

Does 6 figures include the pennies after the decimal point.?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/05/2019 16:07

Well, Yawn did say that if you increased your earnings by 2.5K a year, you'd be earning six figures within four years.

Unless you were earning 90K to start with, this can only be the case if 'six figures' has an entirely different meaning to FLP bots than it does to the populace at large...

Jigsawpuzzle · 23/05/2019 16:30

Promotion bot in a packed room 😂
