I completely agree that that transcript is a very powerful example of the brainwashing of MLM victims.....seeing it written down makes it even more powerful.

@Twentytwentyhindsight spot on, that description and comparison to cults is what I wanted to say but was too tired to put it across properly. It's scary yet fascinating.

I saw Derren Brown live once and the audience had to participate in a miracle 'I believe' type thing. Think Evangelust church healing routine. He used all the elements : lighting, music, cheering, peer pressure, persuasion, talk of redemption and choosing the right path etc. Really interesting as it was easy to get swept up in it even though I'm a cynical person. He talks a lot about suggestibility and psychology which I'm reminded of when listening to bots speak.

Long term lurker and early poster on these threads. Living deep in FL country I’ve had plenty of exposure to this cult and it has been entertaining to see the gradual implosion of this company. As a successful “real” business woman the rise and fall of the “bizniz” has intrigued me.
Yawns downline who recently published a book has been on a “course”, DNA Light up, so I thought I’d look into it. After a little forensic investigation it appears that most of the team are ex FL bots. All have followed the path of enlightenment in order to find themselves. Some are still botting.
Although not an MLM they are still praying on the vulnerable and using the same smoke and mirrors to make money.

Also thanks for the transcript! I found it really useful as I don't have the stomach patience to watch the lives on fb. I think it is important, as pp's have posted, as a documentation of the psychological damage Upline's are doing to vulnerable people.

I'm sorry certain people think we are 'stalkers' by keeping an eye on this immoral business practice, but no more than those on the Feminist chat threads watch and discuss the people who offend them and I'm sure there are others but these are the only two threads I follow. And btw I work in property management, and have received many messages/checked social media of/for damage occurring to the properties I am responsible for, so that is actually quite normal in this business.

Nurse has done her exciting live, no comments or likes and I'm guessing nobody was watching live. She was just talking about how to buy the business in a box and what you get. Didn't result seek the products well, just said you get to use the products and fall in love with them.

She was talking about the lip balm and that she didn't have it because she used it all. Why not get another? I use O'Keefe's lip balm which is the best one I've ever used, I have more than one. I then had the O'Keefe's hand cream recommended to me and it is amazing. I've recommended it to others and they bought it and love it. Because I am so enthusiastic about how good they are others want to try them.

You could tell from her video that there products aren't the main focus, she even said that, taking about how the best thing about the box is all the help you get with building your business and all the incentives.

I do feel bad for her that nobody interacts with her business posts when she will have been told they will and is the best way to get sign ups.

Unfortunately nurse is not a good liar like Yawn. Her face gives her away when she says 'lots of enquiries'. I really feel so sorry for her.

You see sometimes I don't feel sorry for nurse, on the one hand she's been scammed by Yawn I get that, but on the other hand I get the impression she's more than happy to scam other people (and drop them) if it got her her goal, so my sympathy for her is limited I'm afraid. She also mentioned in her video that she's known about FL for a number of years now but only joined them recently so she's probably well aware on how they operate. It's a shame these bots don't put all their time and energy in a bona fide business where there's a good chance of making money instead of chasing a non existent pot of gold.

I often wonder about when the penny drops for new bots; they must believe in all the hype at the beginning, otherwise why would they join? At some point they must realise that they need to recruit others to make money and in order to do so they have to pretend they are doing better than they are (inbox on fire/ smashing promotions/ lots of meetings booked/ so much interest in the opportunity) At this point they know THEY are lying, so must realise those above them are too?

Faking it to attract more people is just a marketing technique and will have been sold as such, so they won't think of it as lying.

A bit like saying that a certain brand of whatever is the healthiest.

I fully believe that Nurse believes that she is helping people trying to get them to sign up.

Must be frustrating to be in the mindset where you truly believe that Forever will change the lives of everyone who joins yet you are met with such resistance.

She has the answer to change your life yet nobody is listening, even close friends are cutting off contact. She truly believes that getting people to sign up will make their life better.

I was watching the end of her live, coincidentally. And I was the only viewer until the very end.

Bloody hell Yawn...How many of those baristas, shop assistants and waitresses are just waiting for you to STFU and piss off so they can serve the dozen or so people queuing behind you whilst you thrust your card at them and give them the hard sell about your 'amazing opportunity'...

I noticed the other day that when she photographed her impulse buys when she went shopping that the tags for the clothes were all hidden. Not all that long ago the designer labels would have been proudly be displayed.
