Don't miss the BBC Documentary which is to be broadcast on BBC 3 & BBC iPlayer on the 27th April and BBC 1 on the 8th May!

What is the deal with doterra? I will admit to buying some of their products, but surely other things are just as good?

BSintolerant · 18/04/2019 20:17

Very interesting comments! Judging from his reaction he hit a nerve.

gotmychocolateimgood · 18/04/2019 20:23

Omg yes I wonder what his beef is with newgoldenbot?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/04/2019 20:47

He may be the new golden boy but he's still a bit wet behind the ears because:

a. he hasn't deleted that friends comments
b. he hasn't hidden his friends list

(even I know that that's what a good bot would do! Wink )

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/04/2019 20:50

P.S. wonder if the Law of Reaction will kick in and the comments disappear and privacy settings change so his friends are hidden ?

Jasmin82 · 18/04/2019 20:53

Looks like just 2 MLMs under the spotlight. Be interesting to see which 2 of the 4 or 5 originals they narrowed it down to.

@Jasmine82 which companies were originally in the spotlight for the documentary?

OP posts:
Jasmin82 · 18/04/2019 21:17

@BSIntolerant from my (very dodgy memory) I know that there was mention of Younique, Forever Living, Nu skin and a couple of others I can't recall.

Paddy1234 · 18/04/2019 21:18

New Hero worship with that comment. Yup definitely a newbie as still on!

9dartfinish2nd · 18/04/2019 22:25

I'm only speculating and could be completely wrong but it might be Younique and Nu Skin being investigated by the BBC given the post that was put on reddit a couple of months ago, they were looking for people over in Utah to come forward to speak to them also. both these companies have their headquarters in Utah.

"MLM - BBC Documentary

Have you ever worked for Younique, Nu Skin or multiple MLMs? Are you based in Utah or driving distance from Utah? (Eg Idaho, Colorado, Nevada) Are you aged 18-30?
The BBC are currently researching a high profile film about multi-level marketing among young people and would be very grateful for any contributions to their research. All experiences will be treated in complete confidence and all opinions are welcome"

Spongebobette · 18/04/2019 22:58

@SnoogyWoo

Pic of an empty room? Hmmmm

Whiterangey · 19/04/2019 00:44

While the majority of the posts here are about FLP it would make sense not to include them in the documentary.

They are dying on their arse, they are not the biggest mlm in the UK and targeting other ones with more bots stands a better chance of stopping people signing up or sowing seeds of doubt in those already botted. Although MLM brainwashing methods are the same across the board so helpful for all.

That said FLP makes a good case study for the rise and fall of an mlm once saturation has been reached and there is plenty of evidence to show they are lying about income.

I wonder if uplines will instruct their downlines not to watch it. Maybe telling them it's heavily biased because the anti mlm haterz had a hand in it. Hopefully it will rattle the cages of all the top bots.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 19/04/2019 10:46

If I were top wake up to find I had no water and was unable to shower I would probably go to my gym that I pay membership for and use their showers rather than send my husband to buy bottles of water to wash with ....just saying.

Whiterangey · 19/04/2019 11:27

I've had my water cut off twice in the past year. The first time was planned so I filled the bath with water to use for the toilet and washing.

The second time was a burst pipe so i just dealt with it. She said she washed with cold water, when our boiler broke I heated water on the cooker.

The leak read on their property, that's going to be costly as they will be responsible for the full cost and any damages to any other property from the flooding.

BSintolerant · 19/04/2019 11:53

Is she washing with Forever Fibbing branded water? Surely she should practise what she preaches to her downline, or are times hard?

Will the MLM Law of Reaction result in FB posts of pictures of empty FL branded water bottles?

gotmychocolateimgood · 19/04/2019 12:25

I'm sure Amway has its own bottled water that bots are told is more healthy etc. Lots of food items too. Does FL water actually exist?

SnoogyWoo · 19/04/2019 12:35

Love how everything is AMAZING!! Those cards with things to remember are revolutionary!! If I consume FL products will my poo be AMAZING??

Whiterangey · 19/04/2019 13:13

I do wonder how loud Yawn shouted at people this morning before she was told the problem was hers.

BSintolerant · 19/04/2019 13:58

gotmychocolate yes, it does. foreverliving.com/page/products/all-products/800-drinks-and-gels/265/gbr/en

OP posts:
BSintolerant · 19/04/2019 14:02

Well, it used to. When I clicked the link to see how obscenely expensive it was I got an error message. I suppose there's only so many times Forever Fibbing can take the piss and recycle it.

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/04/2019 14:37

@gotmychocolateimgood - They used to. The company that bottled it was owned by FLP's in-house vet.

The same bottle of spring water with an added FLP logo was sold "at wholesale price" to bots for considerably more than the stuff in the 'normal' bottle sold at retail price on the open market.

My ex was so botted she couldn't see what the issue I had with this was.

BSintolerant · 19/04/2019 14:43

I hope the vet wasn't filling the bottles with horse piss Twenty Grin

Whiterangey · 19/04/2019 15:07

Peckham Spring Water?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/04/2019 15:17

Probably, white, although I seem to remember it carried the name of a popular cheese.

BSintolerant · 19/04/2019 15:17

I can just imagine Sexy Rexy blessing a van load of the stuff!
