So am I. Just grit your teeth and go for it. The template letters make it so much easier.

looneytune · 15/07/2007 08:59

Great, will look at that - Lloyds just charged £30 for being 47p over my overdraft limit!!

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/07/2007 09:13

looney def do, is outrageous the amount they charge.

OP posts:
looneytune · 15/07/2007 09:28

Don't worry, I plan to! Abbey charged me LOADS a couple of years ago and I hate them as a bank for many reasons (incl. they messed up on my account and made it so i couldn't get money out on holiday!!!), I'm just about to close my account but will start by asking for all the info I need to try and claim back.

I'm annoyed with Lloyds as they have been pretty good but £30 for being 47 PENCE overdrawn is crazy!!

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/07/2007 09:30

I'm doing the same with Natwest, have already set up another bank account elsewhere.
I hate natwest they are a crap bank.

looneytune · 15/07/2007 09:43

Good luck with it. I've just done the letter requesting statements so will wait and see.

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/07/2007 09:47

you to mine will be going first class tomorrow. Are you sending to your head office or your local branch??

OP posts:
looneytune · 15/07/2007 09:58

Mine going first class too! We can update this thread as and when we hear back I've actually addressed mine to the data protection address for Abbey as I thought that's where we were supposed to? I may have misread so correct me if I'm wrong. I was looking at the link nearest to the top of this thread

TheMuppetMuggle · 15/07/2007 10:02

oh yeah see it now lol

Got letter back from Natwest today, adv they are sending my statements out asap

OP posts:
Biglips · 26/07/2007 15:21

as soon you get all the statements, check what are the dates and what was the cost of each charges, print/handwrite it all out onto a paper plus a letter with ya account dats and wait! - Give them 2 weeks and FOLLOW IT thru

good luck
