Is anyone doing extra places on the Masters! I'm keen but odds are madly far apart and qualifying losses quite high! I might check again tomorrow morning. I've got my Betstars £20 bet on. I thought I was gubbed by them as they keep offering me a bet £5, get £2.50 free bet offer and I'm like nah, you're alright, I'll pass! The bet £20/get £5 x 4 days is a good offer - I managed to get an arb on the trigger then £4 or so on the £5 free bet.

Hello, not been on for a while. I took a two week break after Cheltenham as I found it so full on!

Back on it now, I also got gubbed by Coral this week 😫 they must have had a cull. I didn't take up every offer with them either. I checked my stats and my overall profit from them was about £100. I do wonder if it's better to just hammer every offer and lose them quicker, or be more selective.

I got the B365 inplay one too, I would be really gutted to lose them.

GG I always lock in now. Which means I still get a chance of a big win but it's never happened for me. Annoyingly if I hadn't locked in then I could have cashed out quite a few now like YesQueen, but I'm pretty sure I would have still backed the wrong team!!

Eeek, just spent £23.75 in qualifying losses betting on a number of places on the Masters, trying to hit 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th place! Laid top 5. I've had a good week again so can afford the hit if it doesn't pay off but hopefully one or two will!

I’m the same, had I not locked in I would have had the last two ggs. Trying not to thnk about it. And think will stick to lock-in because, with my luck, if I do it the other way, I’d have the hit on lock in!

Couple of questions about mug bets... roughly how many are other people doing/roughly what value/when, i.e. just after doing a promotion, just before, random times...? I realise it's not an exact science, but it'd be great to pick up a few tips as I've been gubbed by a couple already and I'm anxious to avoid that happening too often if I can help it!

I am dying for the Masters to finish tonight. I have about £1.5k liability tied up and I can't wait to get it all back in whichever way it comes (bookie or exchange) and count my profits. I will also find out if I've won any extra places (6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th) although it's not looking hopeful just now.

I put a few extra places on the Scottish GN yesterday, none came in - boo.

I've got to place 2 more trigger bets for PP today to qualify for next week's bet club. I also need to remember about the Betfred £10 inplay this afternoon for a £5 FB tomorrow.

Jesus, extra places on the golf is a bit dodgy! I've tied for 5th place which apparently means I'll only get a partial payout. It's too confusing for me to make sense of it and apparently smarkets have settled them all wrong. One of my bets is showing as having won at the bookie and exchange! Also had an unmatched lay bet I forgot to fix so will lose more there too I think.

I don't really understand it either, but did know it would be Dead Heat rules. I have just counted up my pennies to work out if I hit any as I can't who I've made money on when I look at bookie and exchange websites. If you have won at bookie and exchange though, is this not what you were trying to do?? So you've hit an extra place?

So my totting up has shown a profit of £267 this week!

£100 of that was from a lucky casino win from 7 free WH spins on Thursday. I'm sure the allowable winnings were capped at £20 but it allowed me to move the whole £99.97 to my cash balance after grinding through wagering, yay! And I think I've made around £60 from golf extra places.

It's a win only bet that has won at both, which shouldn't happen. Oddsmonkey forum said smarkets had settled wrong and to expect amounts to change.

You’re on a roll Queen. As a matter of interest, did you get a reasonable return given the short odds? It was also my third gg on the trot but I had locked in each time so, again, it was only worth the lock-in which was something over £5. Am reluctant to change from lock-in knowing that the second I do, it will be the wrong time!!

Golden - not really. I would have got £23 ish but Smarkets kept saying not enough liquidity as I frantically stabbed the cash out button

I did a small bet on Barcelona last night but was busy in the evening so no chance to try cashing out.

I need to get into 2up, but I am terrified of gubbings! I was reading that its not really worth it unless odds are over 1.7-2.0 so Barca match last night wasn't great for 2up.

I've tried dutching for the first time today with the snooker matches (as there are only 2 outcomes) for the Betfred offer. I've also bet on Neil Robertson (least qualifying loss) for the William Hill snooker offer. I might open an account with Jennings bet later today as they have 2 decent offers on this week.

2up I stake anywhere between 200 and 1000 depending on the odds - low odds are not normally worth it but they can and do still come in- Barca went 2-0 down then 4-2 up so both results came in earlier this month! I tend to cash out if the odds are ok a small amount to cover the day’s ql and leave the rest. I’ll cash out more at 2-1 and completely at 2-2.
